Jordan knocked down big shots, but also got to the rim and drew fouls. She scored a team-high 18 points.

Ellie Droste  2020  5’8”  Guard  Pewamo Westphalia H.S.
In a nutshell, Ellie did what she wanted…when she wanted…to
whomever she wanted… the entire game! Her leadership, offensive accuracy, and scrappy defense help lead her team to a 20 point victory. Droste contributed 13 points.

Hannah Spitzley 2020  6’0”  Wing  Pewamo Westphalia H.S.
Hannah was the quiet storm for PW. She always seemed to be at the right spot at the right time on both ends of the court. Her buckets were huge. Maize Taylor  2019  5’9”  Guard  H. H. Midland Dow H.S.
Even at moments when Midland Dow
seem to be struggling for energy, Taylor was still playing hard. She did everything she could to get her team back in the game. She went to the hoop strong, made the extra pass, and played great defense. However, her efforts weren’t enough and her team was never able to recover. Mason was a beast on the boards on both ends of the court, using her strong frame and high jumping skills. She ran the court well and worked hard every possession. Mason showed her versatility by successfully knocking down the turnaround jumper and
her pull up on a few different occasions, scoring 8 points for the game.

Shannon Wheeler  2021  6’1”  Post   Detroit Renaissance H.S.

Kailee Davis  2021  5’5”  PG  Detroit Renaissance H.S.
Kailee was definitely the floor general for Renaissance. She kept her composure and fought hard to get her team in the game. She got in the paint and was able to get easy buckets on a few possessions. She also made sure the ball moved up the court quickly during
transition. She was second-leading scorer on her squad, finishing with 12 points.

Mya Petticord  2022  5’9”  Guard  Arbor Prep H.S.
Petticord took the game over in the middle of the 2nd quarter and dominated from that point on. No one on the other team could stay in front of her and she found a way to score from everywhere on the court. With Mya’s 34 point game-high, her team fought back and walked away with the win.

Kashyra Jackson  2019  6’0”  Wing/Post  Arbor Prep H.S.

A fighter to the end, Helling did everything she could to help her team get a win. She knocked down 3’s, drove to the hoop, and had some great defensive stops. However, all of these things and her team-high 14 points just weren’t enough to get over the hump.

Moira Joiner  2019  5’9”  PG  Saginaw Heritage H.S.
Joiner showed that not only can she be a great floor general, but she can also take over offensively when she needs to. She played tough and gritty the entire game, scrappy for loose balls and taking a lot of
contact as he went to the hoop. She finished with a game-high 21. (Signed with Michigan State)

Shine Strickland-Gills  2019  6’0”  Post  Saginaw Heritage H.S.

She hit the floor a few times and got up every time and kept playing. She was the energy her team needed to capture a lead and hold on to it. She finished with 8 points. (Signed with Central Michigan)

Cheyenne McEvans  2020  5’10”  Guard  Southfield A&T  H.S.
Cheynenne’s athleticism came shining through during this game. She jumped out of the gym, made great moves to the rim and hit the boards for rebounds. After a few questionable calls from the guys in the striped shirt, Cheyenne showed her maturity by shaking it off and continued to play hard and encouraged her team to do the same. She finished with 12 points.

Soleil Barnes  2019  5’9”  Guard  Southfield A&T  H.S.
Barnes quiet and smooth demeanor
was what Southfield needed for this game. There were moments when they could have fallen apart, but Barnes’ calm attitude helped them stay focus and continue to fight. She did a great job handling the ball, as she played the point guard position most of the game, and also knocked down some big shots. She led the way in scoring with 14 points.

From the opening tip, Alize showed that she came to play. She hit a big three early and never looked back. Her floor leadership and relentless play in overtime
is why her team walked out of the gym victorious. She led her team in scoring with 18 points.

Aaliyah McQueen  2020  5’9”  Guard  Flint Carman-Ainsworth H.S.
Aaliyah took over the game within the first two minutes of checking in. Her athleticism and quick decision making kept Carman in the lead for most of the game. She plays with a lot of confidence in not only herself but her teammates as well. She had a game-high 24 points.

Bree Salenbien  2021  6’2”  Wing/Post  Adrian Lenawee Christian H.S.
A little bit of this, a little bit of that. Hit a three here, get an “And-1” there. Bree was literally whatever her team needed when they needed it, on both ends of the court. As her strength and game IQ increase, she is going to be a lethal weapon. She finished right under her big sister with 20 points.

Dani Salenbien  2020  5’9”  Guard   Adrian Lenawee Christian H.S.
A tough, smart and scrappy guard, Dani was the leader on the court the entire game. Whether she was making ankles wobble on the perimeter, hitting a big-time three or dropping off a nice pass, she made things happen. She scored a game-high 21 points.

Adrian Folks  2019  6’0”  Post  Detroit Country Day H.S.
Without Adrian, Country Day would not have had a chance. She bullied her way through the post, drawing the foul and sometimes hitting the layup. She blocked shots, got steals and crashed the boards. Adrian scored a team-high 23 points. (Signed with Indiana State)

Jasmine Powell  2019  5’7”  PG  Detroit Country Day H.S.
Despite getting hit with her fourth foul in the middle of the third quarter, Powell was still a key factor in the Yellowjackets fight to the end. Her quickness was a nuisance for the other team and she made great decisions with the ball. Jasmine hit a big three to cut the lead down to 3, but her team still fell short. She finished with 10 points. (Signed with Minnesota)
