Raleigh, NC  - Get Me Recruited hosted the South East All Freshman Invitational and this years crop of freshman ballers showed to be as strong as advertised. The event featured 48 of the top class of  2022 (some 2023) girls from 9 different states. LBI will highlight some of the top players from the event.

Naja Reeves pg Holy Innocents Episcopal School (GA)
Very strong lead guard who is at her best attacking the rim and finishing in traffic. Did a good job controlling the tempo of the game and getting her teammates involved also showed she can knock down the 3 ball when left open.

Indya Nivar g Apex Friendship HS (NC)
Super athletic guard that excels in transition, has some major bounce and is often finishing up around the glass. Nivar is a big time rebounder on both ends and showed the ability to knock down the 3 ball as well as the mid range jump shot.

Laci Steele g Sequoyah Middle School (OK) 2023
Steele didn’t fly all the way from Oklahoma to blend in. She stood out from the jump. With great size at the guard position she is a big time threat beyond the arc but is also strong enough to impose her will when attacking the basket. It will be fun tracking her through her journey.

Jerni Kiaku g Garner Senior (NC)
Speedy point guard with a tight handle, makes good decisions with the ball. Did a good job getting to the second level and knocking down the mid range jump shot.

Jada Douthit g Carolina Dream (NC)
Heady guard with a really good passing ability and exceptional ball handling skills. Three point shooting was impressive, both catch and shoot and also off the dribble.

Chloe Williams g Heritage HS (NC)
Big guard with lots of length that continues to improve each time out. Showed the ability to guard the post and the perimeter. She is a nightmare in the passing lane.

Sydney Barker g Carolina Dream (NC) 2023
Barker is an excellent ball handler with some swag to her game. Showed that she can knock down the deep 3 ball and has a nice pull up jump shot off the dribble. She made good decisions when the ball was in her hands.

Soraya Ortiz g Team Exodus (NJ)
Very long super athletic kid with great size that excels in transition. Effectively guards the perimeter and post. Rebounds both ends and is constantly in the mix. Huge upside……
