Height: 6'4"
Class: 2020
High School: Hartland

Where does your drive to be the best you can be come from?
I don’t know, it is something I’ve always had in me.  My mom and dad encourage me and my sister and my brother to always work hard, be humble and be a great teammate.

What are you looking forward to the most in your junior year at Hartland?
I’m looking forward to getting back on the court after being out since my knee surgery.  I’m looking forward to leading my team. It is going to be fun, we are a young team and I’m really looking forward to playing with my younger sister, Lauren.  I’m hungry and I want to win the State Championship this year.

On your high school schedule, who is one player and one team you are most looking forward to playing against and why?
I don’t think I can limit it to just one.  It’s always fun playing against Howell and Brighton since those are cross-town rivals.  I’m also looking forward to playing against Saginaw Heritage and Okemos.  I love playing against good competition.

We know this summer has had some highs and lows coming off the injury. Can you tell us what you’ve done to get back on the court?
I’ve been doing rehab three days a week for the past month.  My leg is getting stronger and I’m feeling good about being back in late October.

What have been some highs and lows?
Getting my leg brace off and getting off the crutches was a high point for me.  It was also great when I could start driving again.  It was good to get a little mental and physical break from the game but I really miss it and miss playing with my teammates.  I have to be patient while my bone heals back to 100% but I can’t wait to get back out there on the floor.

Can you give us insight into what schools are showing the most interest in you right now?
Michigan, Louisville, Purdue, Nebraska, Michigan State, UCLA, Ohio State, Penn State, University of Florida have been the most persistent so far.

When you are not playing basketball, what can we find you doing?
I love hanging out on the lakes with my friends.  I enjoy pool-time at my house too and I love shopping.

It’s well chronicled that you are the daughter of two Division I college athletes. Your father, Ken, played quarterback at Michigan and your mother, Dianne (Hall), played basketball at Michigan State.  So, does this cause tension at home on game days lol? Any good stories?
Oh yeah, it is fun when the football and basketball teams play each other.  My parents are very competitive and it can get a little heated during those Michigan vs Michigan State games, but it’s all fun!  They wear their school colors and have their own team coffee cups on game days.
