Although very similar, the Brown sisters Olivia and Jillian have their own style and personalities but together they are smart, competitive, very cohesive and according to Lil sister Jillian "always look good."

I had the chance to ask them a few questions:

How is it playing in the same backcourt together? How is it playing with each other in the same backcourt?
OB.
I love playing with Jillian in the backcourt because we have learned each other’s strengths and can play towards those aspects in each other’s games.
JB.
We know each other’s games so well we can play to each other's strengths.

When did you realize you were good at Basketball and when did you start playing competitively?
OB.
My coaches from a young age have always empowered me to feel as though I’m a great player, so ever since I started in 2nd grade, I realized that I had a ton of potential.
JB.
I always played up with Olivia’s team, and that's when I realized that I love the game and have potential. I started playing AAU when I was in 5th grade.

What was your favorite memory from summer ball with MBA?
OB.
My favorite memory this summer at MBA was traveling down to Louisville and Chicago. We were extremely successful (overall 7-3) in those tourneys, and our team chemistry started to click.
JB.
My favorite memories were playing well in Louisville and Chicago.
We had a lot of games in which we battled hard, and those games are the most fun.

Who is the best player you faced this summer?
OB.
Rickea Jackson
JB.
Rickea Jackson

What are your high school team and individual goals for the season?
OB.
The end goal is to win the state championship :)) but smaller goals we have are to grow in cohesiveness throughout the fall because we have a pretty young team. Individually I want to increase my efficiency in scoring threes and work on my midrange game.
JB.
Overall our goal is to win a state championship. But more individually I want to be a higher volume scorer and shoot at a higher percentage.

Who is showing the most interest in you right now?
OB.
I have narrowed schools I may play at next year to Western Michigan, St. Bonaventure or Hillsdale.
JB.
This summer I have received offers from Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, Miami of Ohio, and Marquette University.

What do you have planned in the near future for recruiting visits?
OB.
I just recently visited Western Michigan and St. Bonaventure.
JB.
I am going to a few camps.

What are you looking for in a school?
OB.
I’m looking for a great culture at the school which in my mind will include challenging academics and a great basketball environment.
JB.
Right now I am mainly just focusing on schools with excellent academics and athletics and great team culture.

Tell me something about your sister no one else knows?
OB.
She puts on face masks because her saying is “look good, play
good.”
JB.
She likes to go to the library for fun.

Who is the better player?
OB.
This is definitely the most asked question.: Jillian and I play one on one
daily, and out of hundreds of games, I have won all but two games. So you tell me.
JB.
Come watch us play, and we will leave it up to you to decide.

When you are not hooping what can we find you doing?
OB.
You can find me reading!!!
JB.
On the infrequent occasion, probably just hanging out with my sisters and friends.

I have coached girls and boys basketball, I know my thoughts but what do you guys think the biggest difference is between the two and which is better?
OB.
I think the biggest difference is the fan base. Say what you want, but I think girls games are just as exciting as the guys. Overall though I would say if you take away sheer heightened physical ability in guys, then girls would win every time due to our high basketball IQ.
JB.
I think the main difference is the athleticism. Also, the fact that people think just because not all girls can dunk we aren’t fun to watch, but if more fans would just come and watch us play, you would know what we can do.
