Concord, NC – The 2nd Annual Carolina Live tournament proved to once again be a great place to end the July live period. Loads of talented players and teams came to Concord, NC to put on one last time in front of college coaches from across the country. The atmosphere was electric, a lot of good ball was played and I’m sure lots of these players picked up offers after the event. The staff from LBI and The Carolina Report Scouting Service along with other media outlets were on hand to evaluate the talented young ladies.

Kendall Moore 2019 PG CAROLINA FLAMES 17U EYBL (NC State commit)
Moore controlled the tempo from start to finish for the Flames who went 4-0 at their final event. Her ability to pull that trigger at anytime and make big time shots makes her a next level prospect. She also showed that she can defend the bigger guards and well as the small quick guards.
Saniya Rivers 2021 G CAROLINA FLAMES 17U EYBL
Always very consistent and always considered one of the top players on the floor. Her athleticism is often unmatched and her play making ability is next level. Rivers showed off a sweet mid range game that will carry her a long way. She is a lock down defender whose length causes problems.
Jeanae Terry 2019 PG 1NATION ELITE (MI)
Terry has been to Carolina Live 2 years in a row and every time she leaves she is the hottest topic of the event. A big strong point guard that comes with a bag that contains something for every situation. She constantly went to a mid post game against the smaller guards that was unstoppable. Terry competes at a very high level and that’s what separates her from most.
Kayla McPherson 2021 PG TEAM ELITE HUBBARD EYBL 17U
Speed and athleticism best describes McPherson. She has a great handle and does things that make you not want to miss a moment when she is playing. Can knock down the 3 ball but is at her best when she is attacking off the dribble. A small guard but showed that she can finish over and around the bigger players. She is special.
Alex Scruggs 2019 G CAROLINA FLAMES 17U EYBL
Very impressed with Scruggs, her ability to just do everything is amazing. Super tough kid that welcomes the contact and can step out a knock down the 3ball. When she is hitting the 3 she is unstoppable! She is going to make some university very happy.

Janae Bennett 2019 PG TEAM LOADED CVA
Gets wherever she wants to in a hurry…Very offensive minded player who appears fearless with the ball in her hands in space…Distributes the ball well-using the right pass at the right time… Legitimate college prospect.
Andreyha Shuford 2022 G CAROLINA FORCE
Carolina Live was the coming out party for Andreyha Shuford. The young guard shoots it very well from beyond the arc and also showed the ability to get in the paint and make good things happen. Small but tough as nails with a nice skill set. It’s going to be exciting watching her progress.
Lauren Wearbon 2023 PG TEAM F.O.K.U.S.-PINK
A young talent who has built her reputation on her scoring prowess, Wearbon’s passing and floor vision were on full display at LBI Carolina Live…She is darn near impossible to halt on dribble penetration. As she gets stronger and adapts to playing through contact she should develop in to a legitimate major college prospect.

Real nice perimeter stroke…very active hands and feet are a weapon she uses to great advantage on defense… Attacks the basket with intensity…Factor in above average athleticism and you have a next level prospect worthy of a closer look.

High major prospect …Off the chart athletic ability and eye-catching size are hard to ignore…Runs like a deer…Elevates well for rebounds and when finishing around the rim…On a Team Elite squad loaded with Division 1 prospects, Isaacs makes her presence felt on both ends of the floor.

A tough matchup on the offensive end—strong enough to play efficiently in traffic, but her consistent outside shooting make her equally dangerous when she slides out to the wing…dynamic first step makes Carter a threat to blow by most perimeter defenders seemingly at will.

Strong athlete whose frequent, aggressive forays to the cup seemed to be her calling card…True scorers mentality every time down the floor…If her perimeter shooting evolves she could be an impact player at the next level.

Sure handed, aggressive and smart lead guard...Tenacious defender…Deceptively quick athlete who consistently made the right decision with the ball in her hands.

Takes each possession seriously; always hustling and diving on the floor for loose balls…average ball handling skills…Wyatts defense is ahead of her offense at this point but she constantly made her presence felt throughout the LBI Carolina Live without stuffing the scoring column.

Lots of “hot sauce” to her game but it’s her hoop smarts and grind that put her head and shoulders above many of her peers…Exceptional dribbling skills… a true combo guard who gets things done on the defensive end as well.

Great size at the off guard position, has some bounce, knocks down the 3 ball, has good court vision and is an excellent passer. She is always a play ahead.

Heady PG with high IQ, plays down hill and always in attack mode, does a good job pushing the tempo and attacking the lane, strong enough to finish through contact, makes good decisions from the point.
