Michigan Class of 2018 Is Shaping Up To Be A Good One

When these young ladies entered high school two years ago, many thought it would be a lack luster year for the state of Michigan recruiting class of 2018. Now as these young ladies are competing in their junior year, they have demonstrated considerable improvement and are showing to be somewhat of a powerhouse class. With several Division 1 prospects, this talented group has proven a lot of people wrong; including myself!  With recent commitments from the top point guards in the state in Detroit Country Day’s Kaela Webb (Marquette) and Wayne Memorial’s Camree’ Clegg (Clemson), this class is definitely shaping up to be a good one. There are still a lot of extremely talented uncommitted and highly sought after players in this class. These young ladies have several Division 1 offers on the table, but are still undecided. Topping the list are Maxine Moore (Detroit Country Day), Maddie Watters (Williamston), Lashee Petree (Arbor Prep), Jaida Hampton (East Lansing), Maddie Barrie (Midland), Edecia Beck (Grand Rapids Christian), Lauren Whitford (Henry Ford Academy), Allison Peplowski (Williamston), Kayla Belles (Ithaca) & Aazhenii Nye (East Lansing). So coaches, if you’re looking for some quality college prospects to recruit, run don’t’ walk to the Mitten!
