Houston, TX – The John Lucas 40/40 Combine is “The” elite camp in America for high school girls. Players showed up from across the country for a second to none experience with Coach Lucas and his outstanding staff.  The girls were pushed to their limits as they all learned that there is always room for improvement.  All the girls from the Carolina’s and Michigan proved that they indeed belong among the country’s elite players.

Janelle Bailey 6’3” Post Charlotte, NC
Big strong post that made her presence felt in the paint all weekend. She did a good job rebounding and finishing around the rim. She also showed that she is able to attack the rim off the dribble from the high post.

McKenna Haire 5’10” Wing Guard Charlotte, NC
Shot the ball really well from deep all weekend. Did a great job attacking from the wing. She stood out with the best is the highly intense skills sessions.

Maya Caldwell 6’ Wing Forward Charlotte, NC
Maya did a great job using her length on the defensive end. On the offensive end she showed extended range beyond the arc and was effective slashing to the basket creating opportunities for herself and her teammates.

Ariyana Williams 5’9” Combo Guard Morganton, NC
Williams constantly pushed the ball up the floor putting pressure on the defense. She made good decisions and knocked down open jump shots.

Zaria Wright 5’8” Combo Guard Charlotte, NC
Was effective playing both backcourt positions.  While on the ball she made good decisions and took care of the ball.  Playing the two guard spot, she knocked down jump shots and attacked the rim from the wing.

Kaela Webb 5’5” Point Guard Pontiac, MI
Her quickness and great handle made her a constant threat on the offensive end. On the defensive end she kept pressure on the opposing point guards and did a good job keeping them in check.

Kennedy Boyd 5’9” Point Guard Charlotte, NC
Really had a good showing during the one on one skills sessions. She also played very well at the point.  Boyd shot the ball well, got her teammates involved and was able to create positive situations for herself.

Madisen Smith 5’5” Point Guard Greenville, SC
One of the quickest guards in the camp, she has a great handle, knocks down the 3 ball and is a lock down defender.

Graysen Cockerham 5’9” Wing Forward Howell, MI
Can flat out shoot the ball. She did a great job knocking down open jumpers all weekend. Her length on the perimeter made her a problem on the defensive end.
