Marysville Husson verbals to Binghamton
6’4” post Payton Husson ’16 of Marysville HS (MI) verbally committed to Binghamton University. Husson averaged 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Vikings during her junior season. She also held offers from Saginaw Valley State University and Findlay University.

Liedel is off to the Atlantic 10
University of Massachusetts got one of the best shooters from the state of Michigan 2016 class when 5’10” Hailey Liedel committed to the Minutemen. Leidel, who led Woodhaven to a 20-4 record, and was a News-Herald Dream team performer, averaged 22 points and 10 rebounds per game as a junior. Hailey chose UMass over Eastern Michigan and Detroit Mercy.

Morgan Villemure is Headed up North
Morgan Villemure ended her recruitment, when the 6’1” post from Flat Rock HS (MI) verbally committed to Lake Superior State University. Villemure, who was a News-Herald Dream teamer, averaged 13 points and 7 rebounds a game during her junior season. She helped lead her Flat Rock Lady Rams to an impressive 22-4 record and a Class B Quarterfinal appearance.
