Player Highlights

Molly Davis  2019   5’7”  Point Guard  Midland Dow
Davis has high Basketball IQ, solid ball handling and is very tough. She can shoot the midrange jumper and finish at the rim with either hand. She plays with her own swag and was one of the better players I saw today. Davis plays travel ball with Michigan Select.

Moria Joiner  2019  5’9”  Wing Guard  Saginaw Heritage
Moria is athletic, strong, hustles and can put the ball in the basket in a hurry. She scored 17 points in the last game of the evening and it was due to her ability to play smart and under control. She rebounds well and does all the dirty work. Joiner is a member of Michigan Select.

Shine Strickland  2019   5’11”  Post   Saginaw Heritage
Strickland showed that she is athletic with great footwork. Her presence is felt around the basket through her rebounding and blocking shots defensively and finishing at the rim offensively. Her high potential is already garnering attention from several schools in the MAC. Michigan select is the team Shine plays travel ball with.

Mallory McCartney  2019  5’7”  Guard   Saginaw Heritage
This gritty shooter with great range is able to defend both guard positions. McCartney plays hard and makes smart decisions with and without the ball. She has already generated some Division II interest.

Maddie Watters   2018   5’7”  Wing Guard  Williamston
Watters is a lights out shooter who in most situations put on a shooting clinic today, hitting 6 in three pointers in one game.  She has a high basketball IQ and can handle the ball. Waters plays with CCE (Kool).

Madison Hill  2016  5’5”  Point Guard   Bullock Creek HS
Madison is a crafty, scrappy, quick guard with a nice handles. She is deadly from three point range and can also shoot the midrange shot consistently. She defends vigorously and can finish at the rim with contact. Very underrated as a player, that is going to make some smart coach very happy. She has all of the tools to be successful at the next level. Hill plays with Xpress Hoops (Laporte).

Maddie Watters  2017  5’7”  Point Guard   Rockford HS
Maddie is a crafty, savvy, dynamic player that continues to improve each time we see her play. She has been on a tear throughout early July and continues to play well. With an arsenal of moves in her weaponry, her stock is definitely rising. Waters is already holding multiple Division I offers as she travels with the West Michigan Titans.
