Showcase 76 brought out a lot of talented players

LBI Carolina
2015 Showcase 76 Review

Amiah Lindsey ’19 Forward SC grabs a big rebound during the Showcase 76 all star game

The South Carolina 76ers put on the 3rd annual Showcase 76 in Columbia featuring some of the best talent the state of South Carolina has to offer. A big majority of the players were participants of the 76er program but a few of the standouts represented other programs as well.

Showcase 76 brought out a lot of young unknown talent as well as some established upperclassmen that are on their way to the next level over the next two years.

2016

Christian Hithe  5’8”  Guard   Spring Valley HS

Hithe is known as an explosive athlete with great ball handling skills and very good floor vision. What impressed me was her improved range on her jump shot. She is able to pull up from the arc off the dribble. This added a new dimension to her game and makes her a much bigger threat.

Ziaire Doe  5’8 “  Guard   Hilton Head Christian

Doe is a very physical guard who loves to finish with contact. She has grown and put on some muscle since the last time I saw her. She plays the passing lanes well and is a high-quality on ball defender.

2017

Kameron Roach  5’6” Guard   Lower Richland HS

Always impresses with her ball handling and court vision, Roach also has a killer pull up jumper from 15 feet that she knocks down consistently.  Her quickness allows her to get into the lane whenever she wants.  I can’t wait to see her with the NC Spartans 2017 team this season.

2019

Amiah Lindsey  6’ 0”  Forward   Fort Mill Middle

Right now as an 8th grader Lindsey is the kid who has so much potential. She’s very raw, but is so active around the basket. She has a natural knack to rebound and finish. For a kid that has never played travel ball she has a huge upside. With hard work, the sky is the limit for this kid.

Showcase 76 also featured some young guns that we plan to keep our eyes on.  2020 prospect Loyal McQueen 5’2” Wilson Middle is a very confidant ball handler. She showed her skills playing up in the upperclassman All-Star game.  She is definitely a player to keep an eye on.
