The Grand Rapid Storm organization was established 1996 and has become one of the Midwest's premier grassroots basketball programs. The organization is based out of Grand Rapids, MI but attracts top talent from around the state. The Storm’s Girls program was established in 2006 and quickly rose to prominence by becoming the Adidas grassroots sponsored program in Michigan. The program continues to provide a strong emphasis on player development as well as strong exposure to college coaches and media outlets through playing a competitive schedule on the regional and national level.
