Charlotte, NC: The Providence Day Super Scrimmage is our annual indication that we are on the verge of another high school basketball season. The talented teams that participated showed that this season will be as competitive and exciting as ever. There were some big time pre-season matchups in the Queen City at the Super Scrimmage. Coach Springer and Coach Carter always make this one of the best events in the country.
Sadie Faulkner 2026 5’6" PG Ambassador Christian School
Quick point guard that showcased good court vision and great decision making skills. Was a problem in transition pushing the ball and creating for herself and teammates. Faulkner’s ball pressure caused major problems opposing point guards.
Autumn Washington 2026 5’10" Wing Ardrey Kell
Back like she never left to recover from injury. Has a lot of bounce and showed a consistent mid range game. High-energy player who plays with a lot of emotion. Looking for a big season for the senior.
Megan Shea 2027 5’9" Combo Charlotte Christian
Good sized combo guard that can play the 1 or 2 equally. Great feel for the game, really understands match ups and advantages. Showed she could finish in the paint with contact and is an active defender on the other end.
Cooper Cox 2029 5’8" PG Grace Christian
Big time point guard who is very poised as a freshman. Showed she can get things done in multiple ways. Off the bounce, attacking and finishing, driving and dropping off or simply a nice pull up. Tracking her progress is going to be exciting.
KB Brown 2027 5’5" PG South Mecklenburg
Vocal point guard that plays with a good pace. Very quick, causes problems for defenders off the dribble. Brown made good decisions with the ball in her hands that benefited South Meck’s wings and post running the floor.
Myra Ukwu 2029 6’ Wing Weddington
Top 5 prospect at Super Scrimmage. Ukwu is a long and active wing that has a good handle and can score it from all three levels. Plays with lots of energy and causes havoc on the defensive end of the court. Special prospect with a bright future.
