Ypsilanti, MI: The EMU Team Camp at the George Gervin was exciting and full of talent. The camp was split, and I did not get over to the Rec Center, but here are some players at the George who stood on business.

Chaniyra McDowell Isaac 2027 Guard Brush HS (HS)
Chaniyra is sweet off the bounce and got in the lane at will. A dynamic playmaker and scorer, one of the best guards in the camp today. Confident, creative, and tough to stay in front of.
Nyla Mason 2028 Guard Brush HS (OH)
Nylah is a do-it-all guard who impressed with her ability to attack off the bounce, finish in transition, and knock down shots from deep. Versatile, confident, and consistently impactful, very impressive showing from the 2028 youngster from Ohio.
Olivia Schneider 2026 Guard Laurel HS (OH)
Olivia is a very impressive guard who got buckets all night. Scored it off the bounce, knocked down shots from deep, and showed she can flat-out put the ball in the basket. A tough cover with a scorer’s mindset.
Tristen Williams 2026 Guard Laurel HS (OH)
Tristen is a polished guard with a high-level skill set who did whatever it took to help her team win. Versatile enough to play and excel at the 1–3, and she was dominant throughout. Smart, skilled, and impactful on both ends.
Janiah Batchelor 2029 Center Belleville HS
Thrown into the fire with the best team in the state, the 2029 center is expected to contribute without hesitation. Very skilled, solid defensively, and consistently plays hard, qualities that make for a great combination to earn meaningful minutes on a championship-caliber squad.
