Grand Rapids, MI: The Smoke was the stage for teams and players to show out in front of college coaches this weekend. There were some tightly contested matchups and some players who stood up and stood out. Here are a few who made some big-time plays over the weekend.
Grace Eernisse 2027 5’11" Guard Minnesota Suns S40
Grace is a skilled shooter who can also create off the dribble. She did a great job reading the defense, attacking with purpose, and finishing at all three levels. She was a solid contributor to her team all weekend.
Brooklyn Koester 2027 5’6"Guard Always 100 Black 2026
Brooklyn is a skilled guard who consistently got to the basket and knocked down shots from the perimeter. She was a reliable scorer and playmaker with a great feel and decision-making.
Onyx Idoko 2026 6’2" Wing Minnesota Suns Select
Onyx is a very smooth wing with great size and a nice feel for the game. She did a little bit of everything for the Suns. She handled the ball made plays and scored it inside and out.
Kaniya Watts 2026 5’7" Guard Always 100 Michigan Anarchy
Kaniya is an aggressive guard who consistently got to the basket, showing strong handles, quickness, and a fearless mindset when attacking the rim. Kaniya looks like she is ready for a huge breakout Summer.
Zoe Wendt 2027 6’1" Forward Capital City Express
Zoe is an agile big with great mobility and plays with a high motor. She doesn’t shy away from physicality and shows strong potential on both ends of the floor.
Avani Williams 2028 5’11" Guard Chicago Hoops Express 16U
Avani is an athletic guard with great speed and length. She can knock down shots from the outside and attack the basket effectively, making her a tough cover in transition and half court. She was one of the more intriguing young prospects of the weekend.
Danielle Brooks 2026 5’8" Guard Chicago Hoops Express 17U
Danielle is a quick guard with an excellent handle who consistently controlled the pace of the game. She made smart decisions and scored from all three levels. Her playmaking off the bounce was next level.
Leonna Kings 2026 5’9" Wing Lady FVV 17U NXT
Leonna scored effectively inside and out, using a deceptive quick first step to create space and get to her spots. She was a Tough cover for defenders.
Bradie Lehman 2027 5’5" Guard Michigan Mystics 517 Cole
Bradie is a confident guard with a smooth jumper. She consistently knocked down shots and was a reliable scoring option from the perimeter all weekend.
Elise Bullock 2027 5’7" Guard Michigan Mystics 517 Cole
Elise is a scrappy tough quick guard who plays with high energy and hustle. She outworks most players and spends the game all over the floor, making plays on both ends.
Whitney Ankenbruck 2026 5’9" Guard OPS 2026 UA Rise
Whitney is a big time shooter with deep range and confidence. She consistently spaces the floor and hits shots from all over. She moves well without the ball and has a great ability to get her shot off.
Jana Honeycutt 2028 6’0" Guard West Michigan Drive P24 2026
Jana is a big guard who did a great job attacking the basket with aggression. She was tough to stop going downhill and finished through contact. Her progression from week to week is amazing, and the sky is the limit for this youngster.
Chloe Bullinger 2026 5’10" Guard Michigan Premier Saldana
Chloe is an exceptional athlete with great versatility. She impacts the game on both ends with their physical tools and ability to play multiple positions effectively. Chloe is a proven winner who will be a program foundation piece for anyone who is lucky enough to get her.
Mckynley Gaddy 2027 5’8" Guard Michigan Premier Vieau
Mckynley is a smart, playmaking guard who reads the game well. Creates for others, makes the right decisions, and keeps the offense organized. She is an extension to the coaching staff on the floor and a player that only knows one way to play and that’s 100%.
Brianna Breese 2027 6’1" Guard Wisconsin Purple Aces 16U P24
Brianna is a big-time shooter with great range. She consistently knocked down shots and stretched the defense. She was effective playing inside and out for the aces.
