LBI Event Recap: Queen Of The Rock (Ft. Wayne, IN)

Fort Wayne, IN: The Queen of Rock was the place to be on Mother’s Day weekend. Some of the top teams and players showed up and showed out in Fort Wayne. Here are just a few players who caught our eye and stamped themselves as ready for the live period next weekend.

Golden Nicholson 2027 5’9" Wing Michigan Premier Vieau
Golden is a highly athletic guard who has a nice ability to slash to the basket with speed and control. She has a quick first step, finishes well through contact, and consistently puts pressure on defenses. Her aggressive drives often create scoring opportunities for her and her teammates.

Tristan Williams 2026 5’8" Guard Legends U
Tristan is a skilled guard with a strong scoring instinct. She creates her own shot, finishes at the basket, and confidently knocks down perimeter shots. She is a reliable offensive option who consistently produces on both ends of the floor.

Kallie Thames 2026 5’7" Guard Always 100 Black
Kallie is an athletic guard who impacts the game on both ends of the floor. She defends with intensity, scores efficiently, and brings high energy every possession. A true competitor and team-first player who dominates the game in multiple ways.

Grace Scharlach 2027 5’5" Guard Always 100 Elite 2027 3SSB
Grace is a tough, vocal floor leader who controls the tempo and runs the show. She competes hard every play and brings grit and poise to the backcourt. She provides a great balance of scoring and playmaking, which makes her an excellent dual threat.

Mckenzie White 2029 6’1" Post Always 100 Elite 2028 3SSB
McKenzie is a strong, physical finisher in the paint with excellent hands. She absorbs contact, finishes through traffic, and consistently secures tough catches and rebounds around the rim. McKenzie completely took over a game on Saturday, dominating in the paint on both ends of the floor.

Addison Zajac 2027 6’1" Post Legends U 16U
Addi is a physical post presence who carves out position with strength and footwork. She has a soft touch around the rim and finishes consistently in the paint. She is a beast on the boards, securing both offensive and defensive rebounds, extending possessions for her squad.

Marianna Jones 2026 6’0" Post Michigan Crossover EYBL
Marianna is a hardworking forward who does everything asked of her. She defends, rebounds, and hustles every play, making winning plays that don’t always show up on the stat sheet. Marianna will be a valuable piece to the Crossover puzzle all summer.

Londyn Sommerville 2027 6’3" Forward Midwest Elite 16U EYBL
Londyn is a skilled post player with excellent footwork, a soft touch around the basket, and a well-rounded skill set. Defensively, she uses her positioning and timing to be a strong rim defender and rebounder, making her a key asset on both ends of the floor.

Addison Wypych 2028 5’11" Guard West Michigan Drive 17U P24
Addison is a dynamic shooter who can create her own shot from anywhere on the court. She has great court awareness, quick release, and consistently scores in clutch situations. Addison plays with a great feel for the game and well beyond her age.

Adah Hupfer 2027 6’3" Forward IGB 17U GUAA
Adah is a strong post presence who runs the floor well and has excellent footwork in the paint. She can step outside and knock down shots, making her a versatile threat on both ends of the floor. Her all-around game was very impressive.

Laniah Wills 2026 6’0" Guard IGB 17U GUAA
Laniah is an extremely active and skilled wing player. She excels in both offense and defense, using her athleticism and versatility to impact the game in many ways, from scoring to disrupting opposing offenses and thriving in transition. She stood out as one of the more versatile players on the court in each game that she played.
