LBI Event Recap: Wilkins Report JamFest (Howell, MI)

Howell, MI: The first live period is in the books, and a number of players made sure to let the coaches know that they plan on having a big spring and summer. Some young players showed out, some vets made noise, and some players had a coming-out party. Here are a few that turned heads on coach’s row!

Jaeli Jones 2026 5’10" Wing Michigan Heat
Jaeli is a physical, high-motor forward who consistently impacted the game on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she finished well through contact, established strong post position, and showed good touch around the basket. She handled the ball in transition and made smart reads off the bounce. Defensively, she was a tough, physical presence who rebounded aggressively, contested shots, and proved she could guard multiple positions. Her physicality, hustle plays, and ability to score, rebound, and defend made her the most dominant player in the gym this weekend.

Lucy Young 2028 6’2" Forward Macon Academy
Lucy was a dominant force all weekend. She scored effortlessly, rebounded at a high level, and consistently made smart, unselfish passes. Her physical presence and leadership were key in leading her team to a championship. A true all-around player who impacts every part of the game. Easily one of the top 3 players in the Wades World 2028 state rankings.

Logyn Hill 2029 5’9" Guard Macon Academy
Logan is a young guard who plays well beyond her years. She has an advanced skill set with excellent ball control, court vision, and scoring ability. Confidently handling pressure, she makes smart decisions, creates for others, and isn’t afraid to take big shots. Her poise, IQ, and work ethic set her apart from most her age. Stay tuned; she is just getting started.

Lauer Wright 2028 6’0" Guard Macon Academy
Lauer is a fundamentally sound guard who consistently did everything right. She made smart decisions with the ball, defended with discipline, and made tough shots. Her ability to control the tempo, make the extra pass, and stay poised was very intriguing for a young prospect.

Jaebri’an Autry 2026 5’10" Wing Lady FVV NXT
Autry is a long, athletic, and fast wing who consistently put up big scoring numbers. She excelled in transition, attacked the rim with speed and length, and created matchup problems for opponents. Her ability to finish at the basket, knock down open shots, and defend multiple positions makes her a dynamic, game-changing presence on both ends of the floor

Malia Taylor 2028 5’3" Guard MWA Queens
Malia is a super quick, playmaking guard who controlled the pace of every game she played. She consistently broke down defenses, created scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates, and made great decisions under pressure. Her speed, court vision, and ability to lead makes her a game changer.

Grace Bohrer 2026 5’11" Wing HB Elite
Grace is a smooth, lights-out shooter with excellent range and a quick, confident release. She consistently knocked down big shots and stretched the floor, making defenses pay for any space given. Her ability to hit shots in rhythm or under pressure was impressive.

Sophia Mator 2027 5’7" Guard Michigan Prospects
Sophia was on fire, displaying an exceptional ability to score from all over the floor. When she got hot, she was unstoppable, hitting shots from deep and finding rhythm in transition. Her scoring burst helped swing games, and her confidence in key moments helped propel her squad to victory.

Leah Shannon 2026 5’9" Wing Michigan Prospects
Leah is a highly skilled wing who made plays all over the floor. She scored it in multiple ways, driving to the basket and knocking down outside shots. Her versatility allowed her to create opportunities for her teammates, rebound, and defend at a high level.

Julie Tkaczyk 2026 5’7" Guard Michigan Mystics National
Julie was a consistent scorer all weekend, scoring in multiple ways whether driving, hitting mid-range shots, or knocking down the three she was in the zone and proved she could score with the best of them.

Eva Borowski 2026 5’7" Guard MWA Queens
Eva is a scrappy, high-energy guard who was all over the floor. She defended relentlessly, chased loose balls, and made hustle plays that sparked her team. Her toughness and effort made a big impact every time she stepped on the court.

Jaida Quinn 2026 5’5" Guard Always 100 Anarchy
Jaida is a speedy guard who is a threat from beyond the arc and has the ability to drive and finish. Defensively, her speed allows her to stay in front of opponents, create turnovers, and disrupt the offense. A true two-way player.
