Hudsonville, MI: Some of the top teams from the west side of the state, mixed with some of the top teams from the east, got together for the Thanksgiving Preview. There were plenty of main dishes and some outstanding sides in the building. Here are a few that stood out and showed they were ready for the season to get underway.

You know a young player is legit when she not only stands out on a loaded team but dominates! Paisley has a smooth shot behind the arc and is crafty around the rim. The athletic guard makes things happen on the floor.
Anna Wypych 2025 6' Guard Rockford
Anna is one of the premier guards in the state, known for her ability to make plays both for herself and her teammates. A reliable scorer from deep, she combines her shooting prowess with exceptional athleticism and length, making her a disruptive force on defense. (Signed with Butler)
Jazzy Silva 2027 6' Forward East Kentwood
Jazzy is a forward whose growth since last spring and summer has been remarkable, with her game continuing to elevate. During the Thanksgiving scrimmage, she showcased her ability to track the ball off the rim and battle fiercely for rebounds, often securing second-chance opportunities for her team. On the defensive end, her presence as a rim protector is undeniable.

Addi, an Indiana Wesleyan commit, will be a tremendous addition to their program, bringing a unique blend of power and athleticism. She excels offensively with the ability to score from anywhere on the court and stands out defensively as a relentless stopper who shuts down her matchups.
Josie DeSmit 2025 5'6" Point Guard Hudsonville
Josie, a Hope College commit, is a savvy point guard with exceptional basketball IQ. She serves as a coach's voice on the court, consistently making smart decisions and orchestrating the offense with precision. Her ability to read the game and set her team up for success makes her an invaluable leader.
Lilly Thelen 2026 5'8" Point Guard Portland
Lilly is the ultimate utility player, capable of excelling in multiple roles on the court. Whether slashing to the basket, running the floor, or knocking down shots, she's a dynamic offensive threat with great passing vision and crafty moves. Defensively, her high energy and versatility make her a standout, consistently causing problems with opponents.
Brenna Thelen 2026 5'7" Guard Pewamo-Westphalia
