Isis Johnson Musah 2025 Guard
Michigan Crossover AAU
DEPSA High School
Always mentioned at the top of the rankings as the best player in the class of 2025, Isis has been special for a long time. Super silky smooth with the rock, Isis makes scoring the ball look effortless. She glides over and around defenders using great skill and athleticism to score the rock any way you want it. She is lethal off the bounce beating her defender with ease. Isis has been one of the hottest recruits in the state for the last few years and her decision coming soon is going to make some coaching staff and program very happy. Before going off to college there is the challenge of repeating as state champs, and trying to be the latest Detroit super star to win Miss Basketball.
Let’s dig a little deeper into who Isis is on and off the court.
What was your best memory from AAU basketball?
One of my best memories of AAU basketball was during my first year playing with Michigan Crossover EYBL. I played 17U while I was a freshman and at the end of the year we do an annual pool jump for the seniors so once they jumped in the pool, they threw me in with them and it was just an amazing feeling.
You have a tough decision to make, what are some of the things you are looking for in your college choice?
Some of the main things I’m looking for when choosing the college is the style of play, the type of environment/culture they have, and lastly my living conditions.
Do you have a time frame for making a decision?
Yes, I want to make a choice before the signing period
Who was the toughest player you have played against in AAU or HS?
The toughest players i have ever played against were Maddy McDaniel who is at South Carolina now and Zoie Brooks who plays at NC State now. They are VERY shifty and quick!!
What do you like to do when you are not playing basketball?
When I’M not playing basketball I like to watch movies, build Legos and play my play station.
