Louisville, KY: Select 40 P24 National Championship took place in Louisville, KY, last weekend, and the teams and the athletes saved their best for last. The baselines were packed, the top players showed why they were on top, and quite a few girls showed why they were next up. Here are some that stood out over the three-day weekend. PART ONE

Jasmyn Cooper 2025 Wing MCW Starz P24
Jasmyn is a physical wing that did damage scoring at all three levels. The Syracuse commit was tough getting to the hoop, finishing through contact, scoring in the post, and hitting the three from deep. She did a great job facilitating for her teammates, in route to a Championship game appearance.

Saniyah Hall 2026 Guard Legends U Black 17U P24
Saniyah, my Tournament MVP, was unstoppable when it mattered this weekend. She dominated the game on both ends of the floor, scoring with ease and locking up the ball on defense. She is silky smooth getting to the hoop and did a great job passing out of the double team for easy buckets. Only a Junior Saniyah will be back to terrorize defenders and teams again!

Taliyah Henderson 2025 Post Jason Kidd Select P24
Taliyah is a physical force who made a living in the lane, scoring with defenders hanging all over her. She mixes a nice blend of finesse, athleticism, strength, and touch to dominate her opponents. She plays with great passion and a great motor, all great traits that make her one of the top recruits in the class.

Alli Zajac 2025 Post Michigan Drive Premier Willis S40
Alli established herself once again as one of the top players in the state of Michigan. She rebounded the ball at a high clip, she scored in the lane, shot it well from the outside and was a huge reason her team only lost one game. Alli has a good combination of size and skill and continued improving all summer. She is one of the top available seniors on the board.

Brihanna Crittendon 2026 Wing Colorado Lockdown 17U P24
Brihanna is a versatile wing who scores in a variety of ways. She was unstoppable in transition, running the floor using her athleticism to score. She hit the deep ball, and she was effective in cutting off the ball for easy baskets. She was a terror on defense, using her length and speed to cause havoc in the passing lanes and on the ball. Crittendon will be one of the top returning players next Spring.

Lilly Williams 2026 Post Michigan Mystics 17U P24
Lilly is a dominant force on both ends of the floor. She changes the game defensively with her ability to block shots, hold down the lane, and create offense out of her defense. Offensively she has great hands, great feet and she does a great job keeping the ball high scoring in traffic. The MSU commit has a crazy bright future ahead of her.

Mimi Thiero 2026 Wing Slamm
Mimi has great size, great length and a great feel for the game. She is a defensive stopper in the lane, blocking and altering shots. She runs the floor extremely well, finishing in transition. With her athletic ability, length, and work ethic, the sky is the limit for Thiero. Stay Tuned she will be back!

Nyajuacni Riak 2028 Guard Wisconsin Purple Aces 16U
Riak is a big-time 2028 versatile recruit who definitely has established herself as one who has next. She has unbelievable size, length, and skill, mixing solid perimeter skills with an ability to also dominate the paint. She can create off the dribble, shoot it from three, and finish above the rim.

Madison Parish 2025 Guard Legends Black P24
Madison is the glue to the championship winning Legends squad. She does a little bit of everything at a high level and with a high motor. She can score it from the outside or get to the hoop; she plays multiple positions on the floor and excels at each one. Her aggressive defense causes havoc, forces turnovers, and turns defense into offense.

Sydney Savoury 2027 Guard Legends Black P24
Sometimes, it’s easy to forget that Syd is just in the class of 2027. Her college build, approach, and next-level mindset separate her from most her age.  She is a light’s out shooter from three, can create her own shot off the dribble, and seems to take pride in taking the hit and still getting the and one! Syd is the future of Michigan hoops, her feel for the game along with her skill set will make for an exciting couple of years.

Jaida Civil 2025 Guard East Coast United Family P24
Jaida is electric to watch. She is an elite athlete with an exceptional skill set who stays in attack mode all game. She glides over and around defenders, using great length to finish at the rim. She shoots it well from deep, and she takes pride in locking up on defense.

Gracie Furlong 2025 Guard Lady Martin Brothers
Gracie is a long athletic quick guard with a shifty handle. She did a great job using her speed and her explosive first step to attack the hoop off the bounce. As a guard, she was one of the top rebounders on the floor. Her energy was crazy!!!!

Amel Cook 2028 Guard Team G 17U S40
Amel is a long athletic wing with an explosive first step and spring off the ground. She caused havoc on defense and stood out in transition using her length speed and athleticism to get to the hoop and finish. Big time young prospect!

Charis Rainey 2027 Guard Team G 17U S40
Charis is a big guard with a nice handle great vision, and super athletic. She punished defenders attacking the hoop and scoring through contact. She was a one person press break setting up her teammates for easy buckets.

Jaela Thompson 2027 Guard Kansas United S40 2027
Jaela is a walking triple double waiting to happen. She was dominant in the game I watched scoring inside and out, making the sweet pass for an easy bucket and rebounding at a high clip. She is a physical guard that played with a super aggressive motor getting in the lane off the bounce and making plays. Jaela is one we will be talking about for a long time!

Anna Wypych 2025 Guard Michigan Drive Premier P24
Anna is a difference maker on both ends of the floor. She is responsible for so much that goes on on the floor that it just goes without saying that she will fill the stat sheet in all categories. She is a big-time scorer and facilitator; she runs the show and leads the defense. She is a big guard, and she uses it to her advantage to rebound and push in transition. Anna is a special player, and whatever program is lucky enough to land her will be getting an instant impact player ready to help in any way that she can.

Charlotte Miller 2025 Guard Michigan Drive Premier P24 Charlotte is an outstanding lead guard that did a great job all weekend sharing the ball, scoring and locking up on defense. She was very instrumental in her team's outstanding performance in the National Championship tourney. Charlotte plays the game with an unmatched intensity that carries over to her team; she not only leads with words but by example.

Leigh Wyman 2026 Wing Michigan Drive Premier 2026 P24
Leigh had a breakout summer and capped it off with a great weekend in the National Championships. She was all over the floor making tough hustle plays, scoring in transition, knocking down the jump shot, and finishing at the basket. Leigh is a high energy player that plays with a great motor and uses her length to disrupt things on the defensive end.

Madison Repicky 2028 Guard Michigan Mystics S40 2027
Madison is next up, for sure. She has an elite handle with the ability to beat her defender off the bounce and make a play. She shoots it well from the outside and plays with great confidence for a youngster. Madison’s biggest strength is her feel for the game. Only an incoming 9th grader, she plays with great patience and pace, not letting the defense speed her up. All good traits of a top PG1.

Sophia Bussell 2025 Guard Michigan Mystics Black 2025
Sophia who has played very well throughout the summer saved her best for last.  Looking very aggressive and confident, Sophia was letting it fly this weekend, knocking down threes from all over the floor. Not just a stand still shooter, she also did a great job putting the ball on the floor and creating shots. I think we will see a lot of Monroe records being shattered this year from Bussell during her senior season.

Grace Brenner 2027 point guard Michigan Mystics 2026 P24
Grace is a tough smart floor general. She ran the show and was aggressive with the dribble, getting in the lane and making plays. She worked hard on defense and applied relentless pressure on the ball. Future is bright.

Halen Mclaughlin 2025 Guard Michigan Mystics S40
Halen is an experienced bucket getter. She can score it at all three levels, but her biggest strength is her ability to get in the lane, brush off the contact, and hit the mid-range shot. Halen uses great footwork and strength off the bounce to create her own shot; she competes at a high level and does whatever it takes to get the win. Whichever program is lucky enough to get Halen is getting a big-time difference maker.

Nyah Wright 2028 Forward Michigan Mystics Select 2028
It’s hard for post players to really get noticed in a guard oriented AAU but Nyah finds a way. She has good footwork, soft hands, and a soft touch around the basket. She battles hard for rebounds and intimidates on defense.

Easton McCollough 2028 Guard AAO Flight S40 2027
When I ask who got the next 2028, Easton McCollough screams, I do loud and clear with her game. A big-time shooter with range for days, she put on an absolute shooting clinic this weekend, leading her team to the S40 Championship. Easton has all the skills and savvy to be special, she has a crafty handle allowing her to create her own shot and if she gets a sliver a space you might as well count it. Easton was one of the best incoming 9th graders in the building and by the looks of it she is just getting started.
