Ann Arbor, MI: The University of Michigan Team Camp never disappoints; this year was no different. There were some tough teams, big-time players, and games that went down to the last shot and even OT. Here are some standouts from this year’s camp!

Christine Chinemelu 2026 Wing Belleville HS
Christine brought big time energy all day. She was a force rebounding on both ends of the floor, and she did a great job getting it off the board and pushing it in transition. She was strong in the lane, finishing through contact, blocking shots, and being a powerful presence for the young Tiger squad.

Paisley Stephens 2028 Guard Belleville HS
Paisley, who is a starter on the main team, was the go to player for the young Belleville squad, and she was locked in and ready to deliver. Paisley is a smooth guard who can shoot it from deep, get to the basket off the bounce, and drop dimes to her teammates. She was aggressive all day, gliding through the defense and making plays. Paisley is on her way to being a highly sought after recruit in the class of 2028.

Denza Allen 2025 Wing Big Walnut HS
Denza had a great day. She has great size and length and is capable of playing the 2-4. She did a great job using her length and ability to score inside and out. She made plays off the bounce, getting to the basket and scoring in traffic. She ran the floor well, finishing in transition, and was a big factor on the boards.

Lexi Federer 2025 Guard Big Walnut HS
Lexi was on fire today. She was lights out from three ball knocking down shots from all over showing unbelievable range and accuracy. She is a tough, physical guard who locks up on defense. The Big Walnut team has a great core group, and Lexi is a huge part of their success.

CeCe Arico 2027 Guard Detroit Country Day HS
CeCe is one of the state's most well-rounded, aggressive, smart guards, regardless of class. She puts pressure on the defense all game by pushing the ball in transition, attacking the lane aggressively, looking to score, and she has the ability to shoot it from deep when the drive isn’t there. CeCe’ usage rate is crazy, she covers the other team’s best player, she rebounds at a high level she scores and she also is able to move over and run the show from the one. One of the big time players in our state and in the nation, Cece seems to get better every time out!

Aizlyn Albanese 2026 Guard Farmington Hills Mercy HS
Big-time shooter! Aizlyn is a knockdown shooter who does a great job moving without the ball and finding her spots. She has a sweet stroke, unlimited range, and supreme confidence. She is a big guard with a quick release who can get her shot off with a defender on her. She rebounds well for a guard and competes on defense.

Ava Rodriquez 2026 Guard Father Gabriel Richard HS
Ava had a great day handling the ball, making plays off the dribble for her or a teammate, knocking down Jump shots from deep, floaters in traffic, and getting out scoring in transition. Ava helped FGR get a big-time dub today with a no stress three ball as time expired vs. Big Walnut.

Kenley Slanger 2028 Guard Grand Rapids West Catholic HS
One of the many talented 2028s starting high school this year, Kenley is a versatile guard who gets it done in many different ways for West Catholic. She is tough going downhill attacking the hoop, she can shoot it and is tough mixing it up on both ends of the floor. Kenley can play and defend 1 through 3, and she will be a great compliment to the outstanding Dykstra this season.

Nikki Kerstein 2025 Guard Montini Catholic HS
Nikki is a tough guard with shiftiness, handle, and vision that make her a top PG1. She can shoot it from deep and does a great job beating her defender off the bounce, making plays for her or a teammate. Nikki was one of the best players I watched today!

Cece Bonner 2026 Guard Muskegon HS
Cece was deep in her bag today. She was electric off the bounce, dropping off defenders and finishing at the hoop. One of the best defenders in the state, she was all over the court, causing havoc, forcing turnovers, and creating offense in transition. Bonner with Sain is arguably one of the best courts in the state!
