Hamilton, OH: The Prime Event Midwest was one of the best events of the year so far. The individual and team matchups were crazy, and the big-time players stepped up and showed why they are who they are. There was a lot of talent in Indiana, and here is just Part One of some that caught my eye!

2026 Averie Zinn Always 100 Next Level S40
Avery is a scrappy, aggressive, high-motor guard who did a great job slashing and making plays on and off the ball. Playing up a grade, she fit right in athletically, competing and showing she belonged. Avery has a solid basketball skill set to go with her athleticism, which makes her a big-time future prospect to watch.

2025 Jersey Paul Always 100 Next Level S40
Jersey Was on fire shooting the rock this weekend. What she lacks in size, she makes up for with the ability to shoot it from deep. She has unlimited range and an extremely high basketball IQ. Don’t let the size thing fool you; Jersey can flat-out hoop!

2026 Sydney Williams Guard Legends U Black
Sydney can really shoot it. She shot it well from deep all weekend and did a great job creating her own shot. She scored well in transition and was very smooth using her handle to get to her spots.

2026 MacKenzie Duthie Wing Legends U Blue S40
Mackenzie is a long, athletic wing who excels inside and outside. She showed she could handle it well enough to play the perimeter and strong enough to cover and score in the paint. Her biggest strength is her versatility on both ends of the floor.

2026 Emma Briggs Wing M14 Hoops
Emma is a physical wing with an exceptional perimeter skill set who did a great job attacking the basket and finishing through contact. She was aggressive on defense and rebounded the ball well on both ends of the floor. She played downhill all weekend and was a threat to make a play every possession.

2025 Kenzie Garner Guard Always 100 Platinum
Kenzie, with the ball in her hands, is so smooth that she can score it from anywhere on the floor. She took over multiple games this weekend, hitting Js from deep, attacking the hoop, or making a nice assist for two points. She was in complete control of the game, never allowed the defense to speed her up, and was a bucket all weekend!

2026 Zha Harris Guard Example Sports 16U
Zha is electric with the rock. She plays at a consistent pace that most can't keep up with, but she is always in control. The pressure she applies to the defense is second to none. With her elite handle and quickness, she caused havoc all weekend, breaking down defenders with the drive and kick or scoring in the lane. Defensively, she is just as aggressive, hounding the ball handler and forcing multiple turnovers.

2026 Kennedy Ellison Guard Guard Example Sports 16U
Kennedy is easily one of the most improved players I have seen this spring, and she seems to get better every time out. She is already one of the top on the ball defenders you will find, and now that she has added explosiveness on offense, she is definitely a prospect to watch. She is tough, and her love for the game shows every time she steps on the floor. Sign me up for a player like this all day long!

2025 Lilly Graves Guard Indiana Elite Drive
Lilly has one of the sweetest strokes from three, and she does a great job finding her spots and getting her shot off. She plays the game with an extremely high basketball IQ, and if she has an inch of daylight, it's going up and usually in. This weekend, she was consistent as usual, exploding one game for 36 points on 7 threes. Lilly is not just a shooter; she can put it on the floor, and she affects the game on both ends with her defense and rebounding.

2026 Gemma Wichmann Guard Legends U Black
Gemma did a little bit of everything well. She showed a big time presence in the lane but was also very effective in moving without the ball and making plays. She rebounded the ball aggressively and finished well with both hands in traffic.

2026 Caroline Bayliff Guard Legends U Black
Caroline is a tough playmaking guard with a tight handle. She plays a physical PG style that causes havoc to opponents on both ends of the floor. She can shoot from deep and does a great job of getting in the lane to make plays for herself or a teammate.

2026 Xyanna Walton Wing MAC Irvin Fire Godfather
Xyanna has the full package, and she’s just getting started. She has the length and the physicality to play inside and out; she can handle the rock, allowing her to get to anywhere she wants on the floor, and in typical Walton fashion, she has an unlimited shooting range. Walton stood out all weekend with stellar play on both ends of the court, scoring, rebounding, and playing physical defense. Coaches, don’t wait too long. This one will be climbing up everyone’s board by summer.

2026 Emma Schoen Guard WV Thunder
Emma is a cat quick guard who does a great job of pushing the rock, running the show, and creating opportunities for herself or her teammates. She has great court awareness and vision and can shoot it from deep—all good combinations for a top combo guard.

2026 Swynn Jackson Guard OPS Jordan
Swynn is an extremely smooth, versatile guard who plays the game at her own pace and has an extremely high IQ. She can shoot it, beat her girl off the dribble, and finish through over and around defenders. She has great length and does a great job using her length and athleticism on both ends of the floor. Swynn comes from a great basketball family, and she definitely lives up to the tradition.

2026 Kennedy Holman Guard IGB
KK is a long, athletic guard who just does whatever it takes to win games. She consistently made play after play on both ends of the floor, running the show, making the right read, attacking off the bounce, putting pressure on the defense, rebounding, and getting after every loose ball. She filled the stat sheet in all categories every game she played this weekend.

2025 Monique Mitchell Wing MAC Irvin Fire
Monique blew up this weekend. She was explosive on offense, scoring from all over the floor. She showed a physical handle to get to her spots on the floor; she finished physically through contact, shot it exceptionally well from deep, and was a terror in transition. Monique has always had a knack for scoring, but it seems she has turned up a notch since joining the Fire.

2027 Kendyl Musielewicz Guard Michigan Drive Premier S40 Vieau
Kendyl is a big time shooter who showed this weekend that she was also a big time scorer. Consistently lights out from three, she had a good weekend, displaying her ability to put the ball on the floor and create her shot off the bounce. Kendyl has been playing with great confidence and effort on both ends of the floor.
