Cincinnati, OH: The Clash was full of college coaches' competition and standout play. The Select 40 introduced a new format, the P24, and it did not disappoint. Here is part one of just some of the players that stood out this weekend.

Nicolette Kerstein 2025 Mac Irvin Godfather
Nicolette is a lights out shooter with a sick handle and the ability to get to her spots on the floor to score a bucket. When Kerstein wasn’t scoring, she was super aggressive, getting in the lane and dropping pretty passes to a teammate for an easy bucket.

Kaila Richards 2025 Guard Team Northeast
A super quick guard with exceptional speed, a tight handle, and a crafty ability to score over and around taller defenders. She is a dynamic playmaker with the rock in her hands and caused havoc on defense disrupting the opponent’s offense.

Anna Habra 2026 Guard Legends U Black S40
Anna is a game-changer who influences every aspect of the game. Her court vision, playmaking skills, ability to score, and unselfish play elevate the team and provide stability to a loaded offense. Her defensive intensity sets the tone for her team, disrupting opponents and creating opportunities for them to get out in transition.

Oumou (Mimi) Thiero  2026 Forward  Slaam Woodson
Mimi is a long, athletic forward who showed a big-time skill set running the floor, catching in transition, scoring on the block, and hitting the perimeter Jump shot. She did a great job altering and blocking shots on defense, using her length and speed to affect the game on both ends of the floor.

Mya Viegelahn 2026 Guard Legends Blue 16U S40
Mya played with great energy and intensity on both ends of the floor. She used her exceptional ball handling to beat her girl off the bounce to create for her or a teammate. Mya can hit the jumper consistently from the outside which makes it hard for defenders to back off of her.

Lily Thelen 2026 Guard Michigan Drive Premier Copeland
Lily has her hands in a little bit of everything on the floor. She scores the ball well at all levels, she makes the right play as a playmaker, she is a tough rebounder from the guard position, she is scrappy, getting after every 50/50 ball, and she takes pride in locking up on defense.  There are a lot of players with raw talent, but there are not many who want to win and will do whatever it takes to win, like Lily Thelan.

Jaida Civil 2025 Guard East Coast United family
Jaida is an explosive, super athletic guard who does a great job using her athletic ability and crazy high skill set to dominate the game on both ends of the floor. Jaida is one of the most physically gifted guards I have seen this spring.

Quinnya Gray De Sanders 2026 Guard East Coast United Family
This guard exhibits relentless aggression on the basketball court, attacking offensively and defensively with tenacity. Their aggressive play style creates opportunities for scoring and effectively disrupts opponents' game plans.

Jasmyn Cooper 2025 Wing MCW P24
Jasmyn combines great size with exceptional perimeter ball skills and is able to dominate off the bounce or knocking down the jumper. She did a great job getting to the basket finishing through contact and making multiple plays for her and her teammates. She also has a great mix of physicality and finesse which makes her hard to stop.

Bella Owumi 2027 Wing MCW 17U P24
Bella is tough! Only a 2027 playing up with the 17U squad, Bella slashed, rebounded, scored off the bounce, and had some pretty finishes through traffic. Bella was effective in scoring the ball inside and out and was super aggressive on the defense end, aggressively defending the ball and mixing it up down low for big-time rebounds and loose balls.

Anna Wypych 2025 Guard Michigan Drive Premier Piaz
Anna was in her bag all weekend; defenses were geared to stop her every game, and every game, she found success scoring the ball, running the show, and winning games. She started the weekend off hitting the three balls at a high level and kept the momentum rolling, dominating games using her dribble to create shots, moving without the ball, slashing for two, or posting up smaller guards who were trying to push up on her. Wypych was definitely one of the best guards in the building.

Ava Mallar 2025 Guard Michigan Mystics 17U S40
Ava quietly is one of the top guards in her class, she does a great job playing with great pace and poise never letting anyone speed her up. She shoots it well from deep and does a great job putting pressure on the defense, scoring off the bounce.

Kara Straub 2026 Wing Michigan Mystics 2026 S40
Kara has great size and does a great job using her length and skill set to score inside and out. She has a feathery touch from the perimeter and can mix it up inside, finishing in the lane

Bayli Stewart 2025 Wing Michigan Drive Premier Willis
Bayli played this weekend with an extremely high motor; her intensity and willingness to compete were off the charts regardless of the score of the game. She did a great job showing her athleticism and ability to hit the jump shot. Bayli definitely turned some heads at the Clash!

Christiana Gordon 2025 Wing Sideline Cancer
A left-handed athlete with an intense, aggressive mindset, Gordon did a great job attacking off the bounce, scoring the rock from all over the floor. She also excelled defensively, playing a physical brand of on- and off-the-ball defense.

Lanie Wilt 2025 Guard Sideline Cancer
Lanie has a nice handle, good vision, and a killer crossover that makes her effective at getting by her defender, getting in the lane, and making a play. She is a pass-first guard who can also shoot it. Wilt had a solid weekend playing the lead guard for her squad.

Katie Fox 2026 Guard Legends U Black S40
Katie had a big time weekend playing with an unbelievable motor and scoring the rock from all over the court. Katie is a taller guard and she used her size and speed to shoot over her defenders, attack off the bounce and was able to finish through contact. One game I was watching she hit about 10 points in a short span mixing in the 3 ball, the pull up and scoring in the lane. It was a very nice weekend for Fox.
