Ann Arbor, MI: Michigan Women’s Basketball Team Camp was held on the beautiful campus of the University of Michigan and it did not disappoint. There were a number of top teams in the house and some very talented players led by UofM Commit from East grand Rapids HS Macy Brown.

The top team I saw today was  Byron Center they went undefeated led by Lily Zeinstra, Avery Depagter, and Mckenna Ferguson.

Wayne Memorial was a close second going 3-1 led by Mayla Ham, Paris Bass, Jayla Jackson, Amaya Bruner, and a gang of young girls that can GO.

It’s impossible to get all the top players on the roundup but here are ten that had a great day!

Amaya Bruner Guard Wayne Memorial 2024
Amaya is a super smooth guard with a nice handle who did a great job all day of making plays off the dribble. She scored the ball in multiple ways making some moves in traffic that brought me to my feet with her float game and acrobatic finishes.

Cora Williams Forward Ann Arbor Huron 2025
Cora was a force down low all day, using her impressive footwork, good hands, and a soft touch to score the ball down low. Cora showed a nice post presence on both ends of the floor and also rebounded the ball at a high clip.

Jaidyn Elam Guard Detroit Country Day 2024
The long silky- smooth guard had a very nice day on both ends of the floor for the Jackets. On offense, she showed a great feel for the game slashing with or without the ball getting in the lane, and making plays for her or her teammates. She also was a lock down defender covering the other team’s best player giving them fits with her length, athleticism, and speed.

Caterina Ravosa Wing  Wilbraham and Monson Academy  2026
Ravosa has a very advanced game for a young lady just entering the 9th grade. She has a nice ability to put the ball on the floor, she is strong and has a great feel for the game. She showed today that she can score the rock inside and out and she will be a main stay on college coach's boards for the next 4 years.

Natalie Kussow Guard Harland Arrowhead Wisconsin 2026
Natalie is a sweet lefty that can shoot it from deep, hit the mid-range but is at her best when she is slicing through traffic off the bounce for two. Natalie is a very good athlete and uses her athleticism to affect the game on both ends of the floor.

Gabby Reynolds Guard West Ottawa 2024
Gabby has arrived!  She has a sweet handle, great elevation, a nice feel for the game, and the athletic ability to pretty much get to any spot she wants to on the floor. Seeing her play more freely and a lot looser this summer Gabby is poised for a huge junior season.

Lillian Barnes Guard Valparaiso (IN) 2026
Lillian is an extremely high IQ guard who plays with great pace and does a great job facilitating the offense. Very smooth off of ball screens or in transition she always seemed to make the right read and take what the defense gave her. She showed great body control and a collection of finishes with her floater in traffic being her go to.

Mariah Sain Guard Muskegon 2026
Mariah has a super confident, super aggressive mindset and the athleticism and game to go with it. Sain plays downhill all game and she made some big time plays off the bounce through, around, and over her opponents to get buckets. Mariah is another who gets better every time I see her, the sky is the limit

McKenna Ferguson Guard Byron Center 2023
McKenna easily had one of the best days of any player in camp today, she had a game winner, hit the three at a high clip, and was as usual the most aggressive, physical guard in the building. She had her hand on every loose ball, a ton of rebounds, and won most 50-50 balls. Mckenna is an outstanding athlete who can just flat out play basketball.

Mary Copple Guard Brighton 2023
Mary is a big-time true floor general, she made some passes today that were unbelievable. She has a great feel for the game and the ability to make all of the players around her better. Today with her team short handed, Mary brushed off the rust from being out with a broken finger and showed she can still score the rock as well, going 6 for 9 in one game for three and being very aggressive attacking the hoop.
