The spring travel season has ended, with many players picking up scholarship offers. Many players will be back with their high school teams attending various college team camps, elite camps, and high school leagues during June. The 2nd Annual Wilkins Summer League will host a few of the state of Michigan's top teams and players, which is set to tip-off on June 14th and end on June 28th at Belleville High School. Here is a brief breakdown of some of the Top Teams in attendance.

Last summer, the defending MHSAA Division 3 State Champs Arbor Prep Gators won the inaugural Wilkins Summer League title. The Gators will have to replace three starters in Mya Petticord (Texas A&M), a four-year starter who averaged over 25 points per game this past season, Jazmine Chupp, and Kari Woods (Bethune Cookman). Coach Stine has nothing to worry about. The Gators return junior starters Stacy and Stephanie Utomi, who will have a more significant role this upcoming season, and junior sharpshooter Taylor Wallace and sophomore PG Eliza Bush. Senior post-Kayla Covington, a transfer from Ann Arbor Pioneer, will give the Gators a solid rebounder and defender, making Arbor Prep a Top 10 team in the state.

Every time we think that the Wayne Memorial run has ended, Head Coach Jarvis Mitchell proves us wrong. Coming off another Division 1 Final Four appearance, the Zebras will return four starters led by senior wings Paris Bass and Mayla Ham. The Zebras will look different as they lose all-state performer Davi Mathews (Long Beach State). Sophomore PG Colleena Bryant had a solid freshman season which should carry over to a stellar sophomore year.

Hartland Eagles, the MHSAA Division 1 Runner Up in 2022, will look completely different this upcoming season. Due to graduation, the Eagles will have to replace their entire starting five and replace their Head Coach Don Palmer (Retired).  New Head Coach Reyna Luplow does have some pieces in place to keep the Eagles in contention in the KLAA with returning players senior Liv Linden and junior Sarah Rekowski

Coming off an impressive 19-3 record last season in which all of their losses came to a talented Chelsea squad, Coach Kristy Zajac has the Indians headed in the right direction for the next few years. Led by sophomore duo Alli Zajac & Ashlyn Moorehead, the Indians are in good hands to compete with some of the state's best.

Head Coach Tim Cain has put Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard on the map. Led by sophomore do it all guard Charlotte Miller and incoming freshman Ava & Vanessa Rodriguez, the Fighting Irish will be one of the top teams in Division 2 this upcoming season.

Coming off a 13-8 season, Head Coach Jason Wilkins has Belleville headed in the right direction in year 3. The Tigers will return four starters from last season in Seniors Rachel Riley, Jaya Buschell, Junior Daria Shelby, and Sophmore Rylan Buschell. Senior Aniya Stone-Palmer, who plays starter minutes, also will return along with juniors Mia Wright, Jordan Peterson (Transfer from Birmingham Groves), and incoming freshman SeCrette Carter.

Coming off a 20-4 season and a district title, new Head Coach Karlie Dieck should have the Blue Devils making a strong post-season run this upcoming season will return senior Cola Sisk and junior Amaya Smith. Senior Makenna Clement (sat out last season due to transfer rule) and one of the top incoming freshmen in PG Kendall Smith will have Lake Fenton on many team's radar
