Last weekend was the first time since 2019 that college coaches were out in person for an April NCAA Certified Spring Evaluation Event. Many top events across the country saw many student-athletes take advantage and perform well. Below is a breakdown of some of the top players from the Mitten that has garnered some attention over the past week. 

Arguably one of the top 2027 players in the country, 5'11" Sydney Savoury turned many heads in Cincinnati last weekend. The talented wing, which held an offer from Ohio State, picked up offers from Michigan, Harvard, Purdue, and Iowa. 

One of the biggest sleepers in Michigan is 2023 6'5" Desrae Kyle out of Benton Harbor HS; she made her first Boo Williams Invitational appearance last weekend. She caught the eye of many schools, including Nebraska-Omaha, which offered her a scholarship. 

6'2" Yasmyn Palmer had a solid weekend in Hampton, Va, which landed her a scholarship offer from DePaul.

Xavier offered the best 2025 player in Michigan, Isis Johnson, who didn't disappoint anyone last weekend in Virginia. The versatile wing showed that she's one of the country's best. 

After not playing travel ball during the 2021 season, 6' Janae Tyler 2023 picked up steam from her outstanding play on the GUAA circuit in Hoover, AL. Kent State, Nebraska-Omaha, and Central Michigan pulled the trigger, and extended scholarship offers to this talented forward. 

2024 Maya Anderson had herself a good showing in front of many coaches in Cincinnati, which got her scholarship offers from Nebraska-Omaha, Dayton, Toledo 

2024 Madelyn Geers picks up her first scholarship offer from Niagara. 
2024 Braxcynn Baker picks up an offer from Central Michigan
2024 Leila Wells picked up offers from Toledo, Purdue, and Dayton. 
2024 MacKenzie Bisbelle picks up an offer from Western Michigan.
2024 McKenzie Swanson picks up an offer from Xavier.
