Warsaw, IN: Some of the finest ballers in the Midwest made their way to Warsaw this weekend for the LBI April Showers event. The games were on fire and the talent was off the chain and I had a chance to check out some of the next wave of young ballers already making a name for themselves out here in these streets.  So many impressed me that I have to put out two Parts.

Diamond Prince 5’8 G 2026 UTS Lady Elite 14u
Diamond was the best player on the floor in the game I watched, she glided through and around her opponents making the game look easy while dropping dimes, hitting the pull up, or getting to the rack. She wasn’t wearing Purple but this is one Prince to remember.

Gabby Foster 5’4 PG 2026 UTS Lady Elite 14u
Gabby is super-shifty and had the rock on a string. With her elite handle and her ability to knock down the shot she was a tough cover all weekend. The future is crazy bright for this young star.

Bailey Hape 5’8 G 2026 Pocket City Elite 14u
Bailey was a bucket all weekend, she was smooth off the bounce and consistently scored on an assortment of pull-ups, floaters, and tough finishes around the rim.  Look for Hape to score a lot of points in High School.

Jayden Scott 5’8 G 2026 Pocket City Elite 14u
Jayden was a nice all-around player for her squad having her hand in a little bit of everything. She dropped dimes, scored in multiple ways, rebounded the rock, and locked up on defense. She is going to make some High School coach very happy.

Jordyn Poelhuis 5’8 G 2027 Pocket City Elite 14u
Jordyn who was playing up showed she belonged with her hard work on both ends of the floor displaying a soft touch while having success slashing to the hoop and making plays off the dribble. Only a 7th grader, the sky is the limit for this young lady!

Aubree Allen 5’11 C 2025 Michigan Premier Brown 14u
Aubree must have watched the College Women’s Final Four because just like some of those post players did she came out the gate dominating the game. She was a force down low scoring with ease, blocking shots, rebounding, and making plays on both ends of the floor.  She showed a nice soft touch and was able to get her shot off against double teams, which was very impressive for a youngster.

Lexi Raska 5’8 PG 2026 Michigan Premier Brown 14u
I am a point guard at heart so I love watching a young guard control the game with the dribble, her leadership, and her ability to run the squad and find her teammates. That’s what I watched Lexi do for her team all weekend. She was never rattled and always seem to make the right play.  A future PG1 for sure!!

Jadelynn Freeman 5’9 Wing 2026 Michigan Crossover 14u
Jadelynn is a long athletic skilled wing that showed her ability to put the ball on the floor and make plays for her or her teammates. She is always one of the hardest working players on the floor and with her versatility will be a big time contributor at the high school level.

Jaila Martin 5’10 G 2026 Michigan Crossover 14u
Jaila is super aggressive attacking the hoop, rebounding the rock, and finishing at the rim. She is one of the top defenders on the floor and plays with a fire that any high school staff will fall in love with from day one.

Naiya Krispin 5’7 G 2026 Michigan Crossover 14u
The state of Michigan has had some very-very good guards come out in the last 10 years and I am here to tell you Naiya with her work ethic, her ability to think the game and her flat out ability to just hoop will be one of the next top guards in the Mitten. Naiya has a great feel for the game, a pretty shot, a nice handle, and the leadership skills to be an extension of the coach on the floor.  Next year in high school, Pop my popcorn and get me a front row seat, I am here for the show!!

Secrette Carter 5’7 G 2026 Michigan Crossover 14u
BUCKETS!!! Secrette at a young age already has displayed the ability to score in bunches and her shot. Her ability to find her shot, and her ability to create her shot is improving each time I see her. She has the ability to shoot it from deep but also put it on the floor and get to the rack when she has to. I have said it before and not to be redundant but this young lady is going to score a LOT of points in high school.

Mya Viegelahn 5’7 G 2026 Michigan Crossover 14u
Mya is a knock down shooter who never takes a play off. She is scrappy, gets her hands on every loose ball and when things got tough for her squad she stepped up and knocked down some big shots to help her team.  She also showed her worth on the defensive end by playing tough hard-nosed defense and forcing turnovers, which led to transition baskets.

Eliza Bush 5’5 G 2025 Michigan Storm Elite 2025 GUAA
Eliza played with confidence and swag that comes from being a State Champion played with an elite skill level knocking down shots, locking up on defense, and making the right play with the rock in her hands.  All coaches love that one player that you don’t have to worry about doing their job and Eliza is that one, she just produces.

Aizlyn Albanese 5’9 Combo 2025 Michigan Storm Elite 2025 GUAA
Aizlyn is a smooth bucket getter that scores in multiple ways and always makes it look effortless. She has a long athletic build with a nice ability to put the ball on the floor and score in mid-range or by getting to the rack.  She has a great feel for the game and just knows how to get it done!!

Kendyl Smith 5’8 PG 2026 Michigan Storm Elite 2025 GUAA
It seems like I have been watching this young lady for years and as expected every time I see her play she gets better and adds something new.  Kendyl is a born leader and a coach's dream, she runs the show she is an extension of the coach on the floor, she sets up her teammates and this weekend she knocked down the three consistently which should be a scary thought for anyone having to defend her the next four years of high school.

Malaya Brown 5’9 Combo 2025 Michigan Storm Elite 2025 GUAA
Malaya is a tough hard nosed defender who caused havoc on the defensive end of the floor grabbing every loose ball hounding the ball handler and forcing turnovers.  She was super quick getting to the basket and making plays off the bounce.

Sophia Swanson 5’4 PG 2026 Wolverinas 14u
Sophia is a quick guard who made plays scoring the rock and dropping dimes. She shot the ball from deep and also scored getting to the basket and made plays in transition.

Clare Weasler 5’5 G 2026 Wolverinas 14u
Clare is a very skilled guard that scored the ball in multiple ways and was very effective in slashing to the hoop scoring the rock or making plays for her teammates. The Wolverinas do a great job spreading the ball around and sharing the rock and Clare is a huge part of that high IQ and team identity.

Kaelyse Mitchell 6’5 C 2025 Pocket City 15u
Kaelyse is a post who showed good foot work, good hands a soft touch, and the ability to establish solid post position in the paint. AAU is a tough game for anyone that is an inside presence, but Kaeylse did a great job calling and demanding the ball and scoring it when she got it. Kaelyse will be one of the highly recruited players in Indiana for the next few years.

Jasonya Barnes 5’8 G 2025 Wisconsin Playground Elite
Jasonya showed out all weekend she started the weekend off by hitting a game- winning buzzer beating three from just over half-court and ended it by scoring 32 points in the championship game Sunday afternoon. All weekend she slashed, she scored off the bounce, she hit the three she did it all for her squad. Remember the name she will be making her way to a lot of college recruiting boards!

Lola Lampley 6’2 Combo 2026 Indiana Blaze
I know we throw around the word special or the next GREAT but trust me when I tell you Lola Lampley has a chance! She does it all on the floor, a long athletic position less player with a nice handle, a nice shot, a great feel for the game, and a certain dog in her game where she will do whatever it takes to make a play and get the win.  She is very skilled and at 6’2 has the ability to play inside or out but her most effective spot just might be with the ball in her hands making plays for her or her teammates.  Already considered one of the best in her class she is on the path to (dare I say it) being one of the greats!!!

Ryiah Wilson 5’7 Guard 2025 Indiana Blaze
Playing with a definite State Champion swag, Ryiah is a super shifty, super quick guard that affects the game on both ends with her athleticism and speed. She scores getting to the rack, off the bounce with pull-ups, and in transition.  I see why LBI Steve loves her so much!!

Destiny Jackson 5’5 Guard 2025 Mac Irvin Fire
Jackson made play after play all weekend for the Fire, she displayed an elite handle and the ability to drop dimes, score off the bounce, hit the three, and made some plays that wowed the crowd. The bigger the game the more she stepped up and proved to be one of if not the best guard on the floor.  Already securing an SEC offer Sunday, look for many more to come!

Avery Gordon 6’6 Post 2025 Indian Elite
Once you get past the intimidating presence Avery provides with her 6’6 size and length for days you see a young post player constantly improving on all aspects of her game. She moved well, showed solid footwork got up and down the floor, and showed soft hands and a soft touch.  Only getting better every day coaches you better get on board now before it's too late because Avery Gordon is becoming a household name!!

Jordanna Schrecker 5’9 Guard 2025 Hoopers Ny
I watched Jordanna a few times and not until her last game did I realize she was only a 9th grader. She plays with maturity and a skill set well beyond her years and the way she shot it, handled it, and carried herself as a leader I had no clue. She is a big-time guard that will only get better which is scary for the state of NY.
