Redford, MI: Lady Baller Insider made the trip to the 26th annual Motor City Round Ball Classic; here are our top performers from Day 1 of the event.

Ja’Leeah Griggs (2023) | Saginaw Arthur Hill
Griggs had a strong showing in the matchup vs. UPREP. Griggs came out firing, knocking down back-to-back triples, and remained consistent all game, scoring on all levels leading the Arthur Hill group to a dominating victory.

Zar’ria Mitchell (2023) | Saginaw Heritage
Mitchell was a game changer! Mitchell came alive in the second half dominating both ends of the floor for the Heritage group. Mitchell’s intensity on the defensive end fueled the Hawk’s as they pulled away in the second half to get the victory.

Nevaeh Williams (2022) | Mt. Clemens
Williams is crafty! She used her quickness and crafty handling to get to her spots and knock down the jump shot making it hard to guard as it opened her ability to get to the basket leading the Mt. Clemens group in scoring today.

Lauren Gunn (2022) | Saginaw Heritage
Gunn is a well-rounded player that any coach would love to have on the floor. Gunn displayed her IQ in today’s matchup getting her teammate's open looks, handling pressure, and leading the group vocally on the defensive end as they pulled off the win.

June Miller (2024) | Blissfield
Miller did not let the pressure of being down big rattle her; Miller couldn’t be stopped in the second half as Blissfield ate away at a double-digit deficit late in the 3rd. Miller worked effortlessly in the second half on both ends as her defense led the offense getting out in transition as Blissfield got the big comeback victory.
