Ann Arbor, MI: Yesterday I was a guest of the Concordia Women’s Basketball staff at their 2021 Elite Camp, and it was definitely worth the visit. In a college practice atmosphere, there were drills, stations, competitions, and scrimmages. There were many talented players in the gym today; a few of them stepped up and showed out.

Abby Pasinos Bishop Foley 2023
Super quick PG with a crafty handle, nice vision, and solid playmaking skills. She had a good day penetrating and creating for her team; she is a gifted passer and floor general.

Alaila Walker Kalamazoo Central 2022
Known for her sweet, pure jump shot from three, Alaila showed she is way more than a shooter this afternoon. She displayed a nice handle and created off the bounce for her or her teammates. As usual, her jumper was money, so today, she showed off the full package. She was also a finalist of the one-on-one competition. Whoever is lucky enough to sign this young lady is getting a Steal!!!

Brianna Rodriguez Dexter 2022
She might be the best point guard that doesn’t plan on continuing her basketball career after high school (soccer). Brianna has complete control of the game and the rock; she is super quick, gets in the lane, and makes the right read to set up a bucket for a teammate or score it herself. If she ever changes her mind, the coaches will be lined up.

Alexis Snorgrass Hartford HS 2022
Alexis had a good day rebounding the basketball, scoring the ball in the post, and hitting the jump shot from the outside. She also was on the upside of a number of hustle plays not always seen in a camp setting.

Ashlyn Moorehead Tecumseh 2025
Ashlyn is a tough young guard with a nice handle and elusive quickness. She used her ability off the bounce today to create shots for her or her teammates. She had the floater going as well as she knocked a few down in traffic. She was a finalist in the one-on-one competition.

Anabelle Gogol Toledo Catholic Central 2022
Anabelle showed a very nice touch and great footwork today. She demands a lot of attention on the block when she gets the rock, and she seemed to make the right play, either scoring it or finding a teammate for a shot each time.

Chloe Perry Dexter HS 2023
Chloe is so good with the ball in her hands, and she has a real nice crossover and a crafty ability to beat her girl off the dribble to get to the hoop. Chloe also hits the outside jumper, which makes her a very tough cover.

Deyonce Thompson East Kentwood HS 2022
Maybe the best player in the gym today, and if not, she was definitely1A. Deyonce showed her ability to handle the rock and create for herself off the dribble; she was in attack mode all day. She scored at ease, attacking the hoop and hitting the three. She was just as aggressive on defense and rebounding the ball as well. She added to her big day by being a big part of the three-on-three championship team.

Jayci Allen Richmond HS (IN) 2022
Jayci is a smooth, long athlete that has a nice handle and very advanced court awareness. She showed her ability to score the rock, drop dimes and make plays all over the floor. Jayci was one of the better all-around players in camp today, as there wasn’t much she couldn’t do with or without the rock.

Lauren DeWolf Ann Arbor Pioneer 2022
A true floor general, Lauren showed her ability to handle the rock and run her squad, dropping dimes and pushing the ball in transition. Today she displayed her ability to take over the game by scoring 6-8 points straight, driving to the rack, getting buckets, and hitting the 3-ball. Lauren is a tough, scrappy guard that competes at a high level.

Izzy Hadley Clarkston 2022
Izzy has a tremendous all-around game; today, she showed a little bit of everything. She hit the long ball, scored getting to the rack, dropped dimes, and she played tough defense. She has an extremely high basketball IQ and can affect the game on or off the ball.

Megan McCalla Chelsea HS 2023
Megan was deep in her bag today, she started early in the afternoon by winning the one-on-one championship, and she continued her dominance all day. Megan will move up the LBI charts with her unstoppable performance; she scored all over the floor, bullying defenders on the block, hitting the contested and non-contested Jump shots, and beating her opponents to nearly every rebound and loose ball on the floor. Megan’s sister Emily is already a member of the Concordia women’s team, and I am pretty sure the staff was hoping not to let the younger sister go home today.

Elyssa Kincaid Riverview HS 2023
Elyssa had a very nice camp, standing out in the drills, the competitions, and the scrimmages. In the five-on-five, she was very aggressive, attacking the basket, scoring in traffic, and making plays off the dribble. Elyssa is a very smart wing that has a great feel for the game and a great ability to play with physicality and finesse on both ends of the floor.

Tianna Daye East Kentwood 2023
Tianna has a deceptively quick first step and nice handle, which she used to penetrate and drop some pretty passes to set up her teammates. When she wasn’t running the show and setting up others to score, she was super comfortable knocking down the three from deep. She was also a one-on-one finalist. Very nice day for Daye.

Ava and Vanessa Rodriguez Dexter Middle School 2026
These two just continue to amaze with the way they can score the rock. Both of them have a great feel for the game and already have a killer mentality when it comes to scoring the rock. Don’t let the age fool you; they stand out in almost every setting I watch them in.

Kyra Kleinheksel Hamilton 2023
Kyra has excellent footwork and a soft touch around the basket; she is a fierce competitor that did a great job battling in the paint, rebounding the basketball, and making plays. Kyra was one of the one-on-one finalists and was one of the top interior players in the camp this afternoon.

Kynnedy Brown Kalamazoo Central 2023
Kynnedy is a long, athletic wing that was very aggressive, scoring off the bounce and getting in the lane anytime she wanted to. She had a big-time day scoring the ball and getting out in transition, dropping dimes, and pushing the tempo. Kynnedy was one of the more dominant scorers in camp today.

Charlotte Miller Father Gabriel Richard 2025
Charlotte kept the momentum going for her outstanding summer today with her exceptional play. She plays with so much poise and skill it’s scary to think she is only a 2025, playing with or without the ball miller knows how to play the game, and she can be a factor in any role she plays. Charlotte is a great leader.

Other Standouts:

Macey Bebble Gaylord St. Marys 2022
Super quick, great handle, and an excellent passer

Alexcis Parker Powers Catholic 2023
A smooth wing that can score rebound and drop dimes

Chloe Bisballe Lake City 2022
Very smart high IQ guard who made the right play, great court vision.

Eliza Bush Arbor Prep 2025
Tough, gritty guard that can shoot it from deep with a nice handle.

Savannah Brewer Ann Arbor Pioneer 2023
Bucket getter, a taller guard that is aggressive and can score.
