By Keith Wade @wadesworld32, 06/13/21, 8:00AM EDT

Ann Arbor, MI: With teams from Michigan and Ohio filling out the schedule on Day 3 competing at a high level, it was a great atmosphere for many of the teams in attendance to kick off their summer league schedule.

Jasmine Hadley Davison HS Forward 2022
Jasmine was extremely tough on the block today displaying great footwork and a soft touch. Jasmine played and moved well without the ball which made her a tough matchup. She also took pride in her rebounding on both ends of the floor.

Jaya Buschell Belleville HS Guard 2023
Jaya has a sweet stroke and had it going today, catching it in the flow of the dribble drive offense Jaya was letting it fly and was scorching the net. A few times they ran her off the line and she showed her ability to put it on the floor and get to the basket.

Aniyah Stone Palmer Belleville HS Guard 2023
Aniyah was tough off the dribble today getting in the lane at will and either creating for her teammates or herself. Aniyah got the J clicking later in the morning and became a threat from 3 and attacking the hoop.

Anabelle Gogol Toledo Central Catholic HS Forward 2022
Anabelle has a great presence on the floor her value to her team is unmeasurable. Today she set killer screens, rebounded the basketball, made the right pass out of the post, protected the basket on defense, and scored in the post with a soft touch. Anabelle will be a great pick up for whatever school is lucky to snag her.

Brinn Hunt Toledo Central Catholic HS Guard 2022
Brinn, is a nice athlete that was all over the floor today. She made plays in transition and scored almost effortlessly in the flow of the Irish offense. On defense, she managed to get her hands on multiple deflections or got the steal turning them into easy buckets for her or her teammates. Brinn has a great feel for the game.

Mary Ellis Toledo Central HS Catholic Guard 2023
Ellis had a good morning hustling all over the floor and getting almost every 50/50 loose ball. Ellis showed her toughness on multiple plays by mixing it up on the inside, rebounding, and playing tough on the ball defense. She also showed her offensive skill set but creating shots off the dribble and scoring in transition.

Sophie Canen  Saline HS  Guard  2022
Today she put on a scoring clinic knocking down stand still threes, step back three’s getting to the rack, and creating off the dribble. Don’t wait for someone to get her first make the call she is LEGIT!

Taylor Wallace Arbor Prep HS Guard 2024
Taylor showed off her sweet stroke right away today knocking the threes down in transition in the half court set it didn’t matter, if she had a glimpse of daylight it was going up and going in. Taylor also showed her quickness and defensive intensity in the front of Arbor Preps swarming press.

Maddy Benard Gross Point South PG 2025
Maddy has all the tools and she had to pull them all out today in her game vs Arbor Prep. Attacking the relentless pressure Maddy showed great poise and supreme ball handling trying to navigate the press. When Maddy was able to shake free of the double and sometimes triple team she made scoring the ball look easy, Maddy is a special talent and will be giving teams all kinds of problems for the next four years.

Anna Richards Lansing Catholic HS Guard 2024
Anna is very skilled and long she has a very nice handle that allows her to get to her spots and make plays all over the floor, she has a great court awareness and vision and she always seems to make the right play. Watching her and her sister Leah click together is definitely a fun sight to see for everyone except their opponents.

Leah Richards Lansing Catholic HS Forward 2024
The other half of the dynamic Richards duo, Leah is a threat to hurt you inside and out, she stretches the D with her jump shot and has great footwork down low to score in the paint.  Leah, like her sister, makes plays all over the floor and has the versatility to handle the ball make the right pass, and definitely get a bucket.

Stephanie and Stacy Utomi  Arbor Prep HS 2024
Next level defense, next level athleticism they got it all, Stephanie and Stacy are everywhere on the floor they rebound it at a high level they slash to the hoop and they are relentless in doing whatever it takes to make sure their team wins.

Gabby Halliwill  Lansing Catholic HS PG 2024
Gabby is the floor general and an extension of the coach on the floor, there is not much Gabby can’t do to help her team win she hit the open J, had the rock on a string which allowed her to penetrate and create easy baskets for her teammates.

Taylor Kangas Saline HS Guard 2023
Taylor had a good day scoring the rock, she hit the J scored in transition and used her quickness to get to the basket to make plays. With defenses keying on Sophie Canen look for Taylor to continue to score in bunches.

Ashley Hill Dearborn Divine Child HS Guard 2022
Ashley plays with a lot of poise, she gets to her spots and doesn’t allow herself to get sped up. Ashley had some nice moves to the basket today and stood out on both ends of the floor.

Kennedy Blair Dearborn Divine Child HS Guard 2023
Kennedy has the rock on a string with a lot of shake and bake that makes her a tough cover. Today she was dropping dimes and getting to the rack with crafty moves and deceptive quickness. Kennedy is a very smart player with great court awareness and elite vision. Kennedy along with Sophie Canen from Saline put on a show on one of the games today at camp.

Daniel Hehmann Gabriel Richard HS Guard 2023
Daniel hurt her ankle in the game I watched but before that happened she showed how explosive she was scoring the rock. Daniel scored 10 of her team’s first 12 points creating off the dribble, scoring in transition, and aggressively attacking the rack getting to the free throw line.

Charlotte Miller Gabriel Richard HS Guard 2025
The future is so incredibly bright for this young guard and she showed exactly why today. Always under control, Charlotte played well beyond her years with great poise vision, and ball control. She doesn’t get rattled and always seemed to make the right play. The future is very bright for this Freshman.

Mya Petticord  Arbor Prep HS Guard 2022  | Lexus Bargasser Grass Lake HS Guard 2022
These two deserve a section all to themselves, they both are program changing guards that play at such an elite level that they make even the difficult look easy. These two guards are two of the best in the country and they do it on both ends of the floor. Arbor Prep and Grass Lake are in great hands this year with these two running the show.
