Indianapolis, IN: It’s time to get this party started. Day 1 of the 2020 TFN Run 4 Roses kicked off with a few night games. If the first night is any indication of what’s to come, we are all in for a treat. Here are a few of the top performers from the night's action.

Ella Kruschka 2022 | MI Premier 2022 White
Ella Kruschka has all kinds of grit, and she was money early in a game that seemed to be headed in the wrong direction for Michigan Premier. After starting the game hardly able to compete against Ohio United’s full-court press, Kruschka was able to sink a 3 to help her team settle in. Then she made another...then another! In no time, Premier was tied at 32 before eventually succumbing to Ohio United’s consistent attack. Kruschka is a competitor and deserves your attention.

Abbie Riddle 2023 | Ohio United
Riddle has a lot of tools. She plays at a very good pace. Her size and length at the 2-guard spot should be coveted. Riddle had a great 1st half on day 1 of Run 4 Roses as she was able to convert a few push shots off the drive while still managing to be disruptive on the defensive end.

Lina Rea 2022 | Tri-County Hoopers
Lina Rea is quick and tough. She was instrumental down the stretch in her team's 1-point win over a talented Example Sports team. She scored on a nice floater in traffic to put TCH up 4, and that basket would prove to be the dagger TCH needed to stave off a comeback. Rea was solid all game on both ends of the floor, and she’s only getting better.

Payton Lee 2023 | Tri-County Hoopers
I got my first look at Tri-County Hoopers late summer addition in 2023 6’4” Center Payton Lee, and she seemed to fit right in. She adds much-needed size and physicality on the interior. Lee worked for inside position in the paint and made an impact by inserting herself in the mix in the boards. She was able to finish a few shots on the offensive end and alter a few shots on the defensive end. Not bad for nights work at the 2020 Run 4 Roses.

Kennedy Coleman 2024 | Indiana Elite Excel 2024
The potential and future for this kid is going to something to watch for sure. Kennedy Colman’s desire to attack and score was on a completely different level than others on the court. She scored out of straight-line drives, offensive putbacks, spin moves, and free throws. Indiana high school basketball has a good one coming, and she’ll be moving up the ranks swiftly if she keeps performing the way she did Friday night.

Jozee Rhodes 2022 | Indiana Flight GUAA 2022
Rhodes immediately showed her strength and sneaky athleticism, grabbing a rebound over the top of everyone and finishing an easy layup amongst a crowd. Rhodes was also able to gain great post position and hit her defender with very fast and effective moves on the block. This kid is a player!

Ashlyn Traylor 2022 | Indiana Flight (Team Blaze 2022)
Ashlyn Traylor was out to get some extra run in with IN Flight this weekend, and she filled in nicely. Traylor was seemingly everywhere during the course of the game. She led the break confidently and found her teammates well, she played full-court defense, hounding the ball, and she was simply unphased by the contact when attacking the rim, finding herself at the free-throw line or finishing tough buckets. Traylor tough and has incredible energy.

Kayla Tamm 2025 | Indy Gymrats 2025 Hunt
Kayla completely lit the gym up with her ridiculously accurate shooting ability late Friday night. She was able to knock down deep threes multiple times. When the defense tried to run her off of her shot, she put the ball on the floor and hit the midrange time and time again. Tamm was clutch for her team throughout the game when it heated up, and they needed to stop a drought.

2024 Dylan Price | Tennessee Flight
Although Dylan and her team had a turbulent start to a full weekend, she made her opponents work for everything they got. Dylan was a nightmare to contain off the dribble with her explosive first step. She seemed to float down the lane and finish tough buckets in traffic when her team needed them most.
