Kara Stutzman  2021  5’8”  SG  Blissfield
When your team is down by double digits, it is sometimes difficult to stay optimistic and continue to play hard. Kara did a good job of staying focused and not giving up. She continued to be aggressive on both ends of the court and fight for her squad, including sinking some deep threes in the final minutes of the game. She finished with 14 points.

Jordan Phillips  2020  5’8”  CG  Midland
Jordan was the go-to kid for her team. She attacked the rim and did a great job of finishing strong in transition. She was a vocal leader and did not allow her team to get relaxed when they gained a big lead. She finished with a game-high 29 points.

Anna Tuck  2021  6’1”  PF  Midland
Dominating the boards on both ends of the Anna was a huge piece of the puzzle for her team. She played great defense and did a great job of moving without the ball to make herself available on offense.  She finished with 11 points.

Mya Petticord  2022  5’9”  CG  Arbor Prep
A quiet storm, Mya help lead her team dominate the game from start to finish. She was awesome at knocking down the short jumper off the bounce. She also showed that she has great court vision, making the extra pass needed for easy buckets.  She finished with a game-high 29 points.

Jazmin Chupp  2022  5’8”  SG  Arbor Prep
Jazmin’s defense was the fire that fueled her team’s smothering full-court press. She has quick feet and long arms, and she knows how to use them. She helped to create multiple turnovers and steals that resulted in easy buckets and a win for her team. She ended the game with 13 points.

Hunter Conway  2021  5’8”  SG  Belleville
Hunter was not able to get her team fired enough to overcome an early deficit, but she did make sure she gave Arbor Prep a hard time whenever she could. She penetrated the paint, finishing at the rim strong and was not afraid to shoot from deep. She finished with 12 points.

Katelyn Murray  2021  5’6”  PG  Midland Dow
Never letting the pressure get to her, Katelyn kept her composure and focus in a very tough game. She played great defense that ultimately resulted in some game shifting plays for her squad. She hit big shots when they were needed and overall had a great game. She finished with the win and 14 points.

Jada Garner  2021  5’6”  CG  Midland Dow
The saying is big players make big plays in big games. Jada did just that. With only 33 seconds left in regulation, Jada knocked down a three-point shot that gave her team a one-point lead. In addition to the big shot, Jada was a huge asset on both ends of the court. She played with a lot of heart. She finished 11 points.

Hailey Helling  2021  5’8”  Maple City Glen Lakes
Hailey was the steady pulse of her team. She did a little bit of everything to try and help her squad go home with the victory. She showed great leadership and pose in a very nerve-wracking and close game. Although her team did not get the win, Hailey showed that she can handle the pressure and can stay focused. She finished the game with 13 points.

Izzy Hadley  2022  5’7”  CG  Clarkston
In a game that started out tight and very competitive, Izzy was the push that got her team fired up and refocused. She battled hard on both ends, challenging shots on defense and knocking down shots of her own on offense. She was a visible floor leader, and her team fed off of her energy. She scored a game-high 13 points.

Chala House  2021  5’7”  PG  Ann Arbor Skyline
Chala was one of the few constants for her team. She helped them to stay in the game and fight in the first half and not give up when they fell behind in the second. She is a tough player and was very aggressive on defense, being a nuisance to whomever she defended. She scored a team-high 12 points.

Whitney Sollom  2020  6’4”  SF  Hartland
Doing a little bit of everything, Whitney stepped up to the challenge and led her team to victory. Despite getting in early foul trouble, she was still able to keep her team’s energy high. She dominated on the boards and knocked down some nice 12 footers with a hand in her face. She also was very active around the rim, finishing with and without contact. She finished with 15 points and the win.

Bree Salenbien  2021 6’4”  SF  Lenawee Christian
Shooting the ball from all over the court, Bree was almost unstoppable. She showed great footwork on the post with her back to the rim and also hit some deep jumpers with ease. She rebounded and finished at the rim in transition. Showing her versatility, Bree played the point guard position on several possessions. She finished with a team-high 15 points.

Cheyenne McEvans  2020  5’10”  SF  Southfield A&T
A natural leader, Cheyenne, was vocal and active the entire game. She directed traffic with and without the ball in her hands. She did a great job of getting inside and drawing contact and also creating shots for herself and her teammates. She finished with a team-high 16 points.

Hannah Spitzley  2020  6’0”  SF   Pewamo Westphalia
A constant presence on the court whether she had the ball or not, Hannah showed that her game and decision making has matured. She stayed aggressive and patient on offense and played great team defense. Her energy was high and contagious. She showed that she has what it takes to help her team win in tough games. She finished with the team-high 17 points.

Kiera Thelen  2020   5’7”  CG   Pewamo Westphalia
Kiera’s tenacity and strong game IQ helped to give her team the advantage they needed to defeat a very athletic and tough Southfield squad. She hit big shots to stop Southfield’s offensive runs and push the momentum of the game back to her team. She also got some big stops on defense. She finished with 16 points.

Shealyn Tripp  2021  5’10”  SF  Michigan Center
A little bit of this and a little bit of that made Shealyn an unstoppable force and help her team overcome a 20 point deficit and ultimately get the win. She drove to the rim with no fear and finished strong. She made some great passes in traffic and was a dominant force on the boards. She finished with a game-high 26 points.

Alize Tripp  2021  5’7”  PG  Michigan Center
The ultimate floor general, Alize’s maturity and work hard ethics was what her team needed in the midst of a very tough game. She was impeccable on offense, making all the right cuts for easy layups for herself and all the right passes for easy shots for her teammates. Her leadership helped lead her team to victory. She finished with 16 points.

Semie Brar  2021 5’4”  PG  Chandler Park Academy 
When her team lost the lead, Semie did her best to help them stay in the game. She played solid on the ball defense and shook things up as much as she could. She hit some deep three-pointers when her squad was on a scoring drought, and she played hard every possession. She finished the night with 12 points.
