Pittsburgh, PA – On Day 2 of the PA Future All-Star Fall Showcase the level of play intensified.  Players were truly bringing their “A-game” and leaving it all on the court. Those who blended in on Day 1 were now standing out and creating a buzz for themselves. Congratulations to all of the lady ballers that made the all-star team for their class. Keep grinding!

  • Things for players and parents to remember as the high school season quickly approaches…
  • Get in shape and stay in shape. This includes eating right and getting enough rest.
  • Your recruitment does not stop! Keep playing hard.
  • The hard work that goes into getting better on the court should also be going into the classroom. Your grades are just as important as your game.
  • Make good decisions off the court. You never know whose watching.
  • Parents, remember you are being recruited along with your lady baller. Be on your best behavior in the stands.

Thanks for the great games and hospitality! It’s been fun Pittsburgh!

DAY 2 STANDOUT PLAYERS

Grace Heliger  2024  5’4”  PG  North Allegheny H.S.
Grace did a great job of moving without the ball in her hands to create shots for herself. She has great court vision and was able to read the defense and direct traffic. She can shoot the ball from deep!

Kendall Williams  2024  5’4”  PG  Norwin H.S.
Kendall was one of the fastest players at the Showcase. She did an awesome job of staying in front her man on defense and was almost impossible to keep up with in transition. She was able to finish the fast-break on either side of the rim and with a defender in her face.

Nadia Moore  2023  5’9” CG  Winchester Thorton H.S.
A worker bee in every way, Nadia made her presence felt on both ends of the court. She rebounds, blocks shots defends the post and perimeter and can finish strong at the basket with someone pulling on her jersey.

Eve Fiala  2023  6’4”  C  Indiana H.S. (PA)
Eve got up and down the court in transition, filling the lanes and making herself available. Her wingspan is unreal, allowing her to rebound out of her area. She is a shot-blocker and able to finish under the basket and knock down the short jumper.

Jasmyn Golde  2021  5’7”  CG  Penn Hills H.S.
Jasmyn is a smart player on both ends of the court. She is a strong defender, able to read her opponent and get numerous steals. She also has a nice arsenal of moves on offense that she uses to get to the basket for easy buckets.

Jayla Golde  2021  5’7”  CG  Penn Hills H.S.
Just like her twin sister Jasmyn, Jayla was often the quickest player on the court. She knows how to create scoring opportunities for herself and others. She is patient at the point guard position and has no problem placing folks where they need to be. She gets to the rim!

Jocelyn Luzier  2022  5’11” PF Highland H.S.
A workhorse in the paint, Jocelyn found a way to help her team every game. She rebounded, fought for loose balls, and knocked down short jumpers and second shot opportunities. She did a good job of defending taller players and not fouling.

Sofia Genareo  2021  5’9”  CG  Southwestern H.S.
Sofia is an aggressive guard that is strong enough to also play the small forward position. She handles the ball well in traffic and knows when to score and when to pass. She was one of the few guards that I saw crash the boards for rebounds almost every possession. She can also knock down threes.

Kate Robbins  2023  6’0”  PF  Upper St. Clair H.S.
Kate is a post player that showed when called upon; she can also play on the perimeter. She has a nice turnaround hook shot that she often utilized when being guarded by taller players. She is a solid defender and sank a few three-pointers along the way.

Sabrina Allen  2024  5’9”  CG  Fairland H.S.
Sabrina consistently worked hard every game on offense and defense. She knows how to get herself open and call for the ball. Her IQ is high, and it showed in her decision making with the ball in her hands. She is definitely a scorer, able to get inside for easy shots and also hit the three-ball from deep.

Adrena Gordon  2024  5’10”  PG  Akron H.S.
If ever there was such thing as a bully guard, Adrena is it. Her first step is quick and catches her defenders off guard. Once she is inside, she knows how to protect the ball and clear out her path to the hoop. She has an arsenal of ball handles and is a vocal floor leader.

Jasmine Timmerson  2023  5’7”  PG  North Allegheny H.S.
Jasmine has a very even kill attitude and temperament. She is very smart and knows when she needs to take over a game. She can handle the ball under pressure and has a long list of crafty moves that she uses to score easy buckets. A quiet storm, she also did quite a bit of pick-pocketing on the defensive end.

Olivia Donnelly  2023  5’9”  CG  Mars H.S.
A combo guard that can score, Olivia was able to be a threat with and without the ball in her hands.  She allows the game to come to her, never forcing a shot or a pass. She did a great job of reading her opponent on defense and was able to force turnovers. Her shot is nice and consistent, allowing her to knock down shots from all over the court.
