Louisville, KY: The future is now for these young ladies as they were allowed to measure up while playing in front of dozens and dozens of college coaches. The 2019 Future Stars USA Showcase was jammed packed with budding talent, excited parents, and curious coaches. Hats off the Preferred Athlete Scouting Services for providing an excellent platform for the next generation of women’s basketball athletes.

2023 Nevaeh Foster 5’7” CG Indiana
Foster finished her game making 6 of 7 from the three-point line after making the 1st six triples in a row. She added a couple of baskets in transition for good measure. Fosters stock is rising as she had coaches flipping the pages in their coach’s books.
2024 Kendall Dudley 6’0” SF Virginia
Every coach would love to have a girl like Kendall Dudley. , she plays hard all the time and is unselfish in her style of play. Dudley was everywhere at the Future Stars USA Showcase. She rebounded with reckless abandon, got on the floor for loose balls, and defended multiple positions. All these things impressed me, and I’m sure we’re impressive to college coaches.
2023 Lisa Thompson 5’8” CG Illinois
Lisa Thompson has an innocent smile and demeanor, but she is a monster on the court. This silky smooth combo guard has all the tools to be unique. She was able to use her shifty ball handling and agility to finish at the rim at will. However, she didn’t just use her talents for herself; she was able to create accessible opportunities for her teammates to score. Thompson is only added strength away from being head and shoulders above the rest.
2023 Madison Booker 6’1” SF Mississippi
In this era of positionless basketball, finding those type of players is crucial. Enter Madison Booker. Multiple facets to Madison’s game unfolded rapidly at the Future Stars Showcase. She was virtually unguardable in the open court and the half court setting. She finished plays with an uncommon blend of strength and agility. I felt as if she was defining positionless for the next generation of players right before my eyes. One could argue Booker was a unique player among many stars.
2023 Sophia Rueppell 5’8” PG Florida
Rueppell is the kind of PG you could trust with your team. Let's say she does point guard things at a high level. Rueppell was very good in pick and roll situations whether putting touch on the pass to the rolling big or pulling up for the shot. She has a big-time motor she uses to dictate the tempo. A tight handle, along with her feel for the game, left me in anticipation every possession she commanded the ball.
2023 Jadyn Donovan 5’11” SF Maryland
Words and phrases like “the air up there” “hot-air balloon” or “above the rim” come to mind. I even heard a coach ask, “Can she dunk?” Simply put, no one at the Future Stars USA Showcase played on the 2nd plane quite like Jadyn Donovan. She was too much to handle in the open court, and when slashing to the paint off the dribble, everyone was at her mercy. Donovan is still a bit raw in her fundamentals but still a big-time prospect nonetheless. It’s a matter of time before Donovan is packing gyms in the DMV.

2023 Cori Allen 5’10” SG Tennessee
Scoring machine. Capable of scoring from anywhere, anytime
2023 Ayanna Jackson 5’10” SF Illinois
Plays much bigger than 5’10” (and I think she is) and has a knack for blocking shots. Has the potential to be an elite defender.
2026 Raine Lewis 5’5” PG Iowa
2026. This girl can go. Oozing with confidence. Soft shot from anywhere on the court.
2023 Addyson Brown 6’1” SF Kansas
Infectious energy on the court. Refreshing to watch. Versatile on the offensive end. Does a little bit of everything.
