Nykesha Sanders '21 had an all-around game as she finished with 8 points and 9 assists
Saline, MI: The young talented Eagles of Chandler Park traveled to Saline, MI on Tuesday night to take on the Saline Hornets. From the opening tip until the final buzzer, the Eagles smothered the Hornets with full-court pressure defense to cruise to 58-46 victory.

5'7" PG 2021 Nykesha Sanders Chandler Park HS
Sanders is a player that is very mature for her age. She was outstanding on both sides of the ball. Offensively Sanders handled the ball well, didn't turn the ball over as she broke down her defender several times that created many easy scoring opportunities for her teammates. Defensively she was a significant factor playing solid on the ball the defense in which she knows how to keep her man in front of her while applying constant pressure without fouling. Sanders finished the night with 8 points and nine assists.
5'5" PG 2021 Emaia O'Brien Chandler Park HS
Another talented young guard on the Eagles squad. O'Brien did a lot of things well. Every time Saline would make a run, Sanders would come up with a huge steal or drill a triple to keep the Eagles lead in double-digits. Emaia can shoot the ball from deep as she has a sweet stroke and a quick release. O'Brien finished with a game-high 14 points.
5'9" SG 2021 Ella Stemmer Saline HS
Stemmer did all she could do to try and keep her team within striking distance. She handled the Eagles pressure reasonably well, while still having to be the primary scorer and rebounder. Ella showed that she could create off the dribble as she made a couple of nice moves to the basket that resulted in a few layups which she finished through contact. She had a team-high 13 points.
