1:00pm Concord First Assembly (NC) vs Rock Hill (SC)

Concord First Assembly (Concord, NC)
First Assembly is coming off a huge victory over Ardrey Kell the #1 team in the Charlotte Observer Sweet 16. The Eagles are lead by a group of seniors that finished last year in the NCISAA 2A Final Four. 5’6 G Shamani Stafford  (Presbyterian), 5’5 G Jess Leak, 5’9 G Camille Small and 5’4 PG Courtney Meadows (Gerogetown) a transfer from Hickory Ridge High School.

Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC)
Sitting at #8 in the Charlotte Observer Sweet 16 and #3 is the South Carolina state rankings. The Bearcats are led by Seniors Rikoya Anderson (Winthrop) and Tee Ballard (Converse College).

 

2:30pm North Mecklenburg (NC) vs Ridge View (SC)

North Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
The Vikings are on the rise with the addition of one of the regions top freshmen in 5’8 G Jessica Timmons. Timmons is a big time recruit and the areas leading scorer at 30 a game.  Her backcourt mate 2018 Courtney Lewis is adding 15 ppg making North Mecks backcourt one of the areas best.

Ridge View (Columbia, SC)
Ridge View is coming off a season where they went 22-4. Returning players 2018’s McKeyzia Harts 5’6 PG, Jayla Bolden 5’9 F,  2019 5’8 G Essence Marshall along with newcomer 2021 Laila Acox a 6’ Post with lots of promise.

4:00pm Providence Day (NC) vs Northwood Academy (SC)

Providence Day (Charlotte, NC)
Coming off of another NCISAA state championship Providence Day returns all state 5’7 PG Kennedy Boyd (UNC Chapel Hill) and 5’5 SG Andi Levitz. Boyd has started the season hot! She lit up the Charlotte Hoops Challenge and is looking to lead her team back to the state championship.

Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC)
Northwood won the South Carolina private school championship last season and they return the South Carolina player of the year 6’2 F Elysa Wesolek (Western Kentucky).


5:30pm Carmel Christian (NC) vs Wilson (SC)

Carmel Christian (Charlotte, NC)
Christian has reloaded after a final four appearance last season. Transfer Lorelei Roper (Marshall) anchors the middle while cat quick 2019 point guard Christiana Mclean leads from the backcourt.

Wilson (Florence, SC)
6’2 F D’Asia Gregg (Georgia Tech) and 5’7 PG Loyal McQueen leads the Tigers who were state runner ups a season ago. McQueen is the #1 2020 prospect in the Carolina’s (LBI) and has offers from numerous power 5 schools.

7:00pm Legacy Early College (SC) vs South Mecklenburg (NC)

Legacy Early College (Greenville, SC)
LEC has a special CG in 2019 Anayah Rice along with 2018 PG Mia Goolsby and 2018 G Niya Goudelock and you have a very talented backcourt that has the ability to play with anyone. LEC plays as tough of a schedule as anyone around the country.

South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
The Lady Sabers group of seniors PG Naomi Gilbert (UNC Pembroke), A’Lea Gilbert (App State) and Jadin Gladden lead a very deep team that is poised to make a deep run in the NCHSAA playoffs this year. They are off to a hot start this season (5-1).
