Harrisburg, NC – First year event Carolina Live Fall Finale took place during the NCAA live viewing period. The event was very deep with talent and proved to be a great opportunity for exposure. While there were plenty of stand outs throughout the event, we highlighted a few that caught our eyes.

Fall Finale Player Highlights

Dazia Lawrence 2019 PG (NC)
1 Dream/Mallard Creek HS
Very aggressive guard that loves to get to the rack. She welcomes the contact and seem to get stronger in a physical environment. Showed the ability to knock down the pull up jump shot and is a great on ball defender.

Jamia Blake 2020 PG (SC)
1 Dream/South Pointe HS
Has a good handle, and can knock down the pull up jump shot. Does a good job creating for her teammates. Good on ball defender.

McKenzie Gadson 2019 G (NC)
Blue Star Reign/Jesse Carson HS
Very athletic guard, jumps out the gym. Finishes through contact, at her best in transition. Can guard 1-3. An improved jump shot would really shoot her stock up.

Abigail Wilson 2020 SF (NC)
Carolina Dynasty/West Rowan HS
Good size with a consistent mid range jump shot. Very strong and loves the contact. Plays with a chip on her shoulder. Rebounds her position.

Megan Harkey 2020 Post (NC)
Carolina Dynasty/NW Guilford HS
Very raw but improving, soft touch around the rim, rebounds and keeps it high. Comfortable in the open floor with the ball.  Shot blocker.

Teonni Key 2021 SF (NC)
Carolina Flames/Cary HS
Big time prospect, has a chance to be best player in 2021 class. Can handle in the open floor, nice mid range jump shot, covers a large area in the middle of the press. Can run in the open floor, finishes in transition. Shot blocker. Huge upside.

Alex Scruggs 2019 SG (NC)
Carolina Flames/Trinity Christian HS
Very strong guard with a college ready body, did a good job attacking off the dribble and finishing with contact, can knock down the jump shot and is effective from either side of the floor. Has the ability to guard 2-4.

Jaydyn Scott 2019 SF (GA)
FBC Southeast Elite 2019/Frederica Academy
Long athletic kid, rebounds out of her area, nice 15’-17’ jump shot, welcomes contact but has to get stronger to bang with the bigger players. Runs the floor and finishes in transition.

Madison Evans 2020 PG (GA)
FBC Southeast Elite 2019/Alfred Ely Beach HS
Heady point guard does a good job getting her teammates involved and running the show. Very quick, solid handle and a good on ball defender. Can knock down the open jump shot but loves to drive. 

Michelle Ojo 2021 SF (NC)
NC Spartans Watts/Ardrey Kell HS
One of the top 2021 players in the Carolinas. Has to play out of position on this team due to lack of a post player. Can handle and attack from the wing. Very good working out of the high post. Rebounds out of her area. Can defend 2-4.

Lucille Vanderbeck 2021 SF (NC)
NC Spartans Watts/Ardrey Kell HS
Good sized kid that can play on the perimeter or down on the block. Can knock down the 3 ball or drive from the wing. Does a good job rebounding with the bigger kids.

Taylor Cullinan 2021 SF (GA)
Team Elite/North Paulding HS
Very good size, showed she can play the post and perimeter. Finishes with contact, rebounds both ends. Can hit the mid range jump shot.

Tamia Smith 2022 Guard (GA)
Team Elite/Oak Hill MS
Good handle, excels in the open floor, very strong, range out to the arc, has a chance to be really good.

Taylor Caldwell 2022 Guard (GA)
Team Elite
Very long and athletic guard, great build, finishes in traffic, not afraid of contact, good on ball defender.

Katelyn Dunning 2022 PG (GA)
Team Elite/McClure Sr, MS
Quick pg, great passer, finishes in traffic absorbing contact, does a good job anticipating and jumping passing lanes.

Corriana Evans 2020 PF (GA)
Team Elite/Spalding HS
Bounce kid with great footwork around the lane. Can defend the post and perimeter, rebounds both ends, finishes through contact.

Ravyn Madaris 2020 PG (GA)
Team Elite/SW Atlanta Christian HS
Highly skilled PG, good court vision, next level passer, very quick, makes good decisions, good handle, makes her teammates better. Has a chance to be the next big time PG out of the Team Elite camp.

Unique Miller 2021 Post (GA)

Big strong kid with a huge upside, finishes through contact, rebounds both ends, runs the floor, showed she can hit the 15 foot jump shot, does a good job defending the post.

Marya Hudgins 2022 PF (GA)
Team Elite/Vickery Creek MS
Strong kid that plays very hard, makes all of the hustle plays, showed she can handle the ball in the open floor, rebounds out of her area, soft touch in the paint.

Kaela Ward 2022 PF (GA)
Team Elite
Can play in transition with the ball in her hands, finishes with contact, good strength, good post defender, would like to see her add a mid range jump shot.

Kennedy Calhoun 2021 PG (NC)
Team United/Hickory Ridge HS
Showed an improved pull up jump shot, very quick lock down defender, finishes in traffic, did a good job getting her teammates involved.

Braylyn Milton 2021 Wing (NC)
Team United/Independence HS
Runs like a deer, excels in the open floor, knocks down the 3 ball, good attacking from the wing, good on ball defender.

Trinity Moreland 2022 Post (NC)
Team United/James Martin MS
Does a great job using her body to create shots on the block, good rebounder, shot blocker, very strong, has a chance to be a big time post player in her class.
