All Ohio Midwest Showdown High Impact Players

Amaya Stovall 5’6” 2018 Point Guard Missouri Phenom 16U EYBL
The DePaul commit was a solid floor general leading her team in the right direction over the weekend. Her speed and advanced crossover ability got her to the rim to either finish or dish it out to a teammate. Stovall was very hard to contain with her quickness and her tight handles. She made it difficult for defenders to stay in front of her. Stovall got buckets and proved she was one of the best players in the gym!

Shawnta Shaw 5’5” 2018 Point Guard Team Brandan Wright 17U
Shaw is the point guard you want running your team! She played with a lot of energy over the weekend and caused many problems for her opponents. Shaw was a bucket getter; she scored basket after basket just by blowing by her defenders as well as hitting shots from all around the perimeter. She also found her open teammates by seeing the floor really well.

Jaida Wiggins 5’7” 2019 Shooting Guard Louisville Lady Dream 16U
Wiggins hustles and plays hard the entire game! Her endurance was impressive and really stood out as a key attribute. There was no stopping Jaida once she got the ball in her hands. She attacked the gaps hard, shot the ball well from deep, and finished through contact at the basket.  This kid hustles! She was very active on the defensive end going after loose balls, being a tough defender on the ball, and played the passing lanes well causing numerous turnovers.

Abbey Cornelius 6’2” 2018 PF Kentucky Premier 16U EYBL
Cornelius moves well with and without the ball for her size. She’s long and very athletic! Abbey can jump out of the gym! She was a force in the middle snatching down rebounds and finishing around the rim. She ran the floor and scored many points in transition. Rarely could she be stopped inside, and even when she was, she resorted to hitting the perimeter shot showing her mid range stroke.

Grace Berger 6’0” 2018 Point Guard Kentucky Premier 16U EYBL
Berger’s mid range game is money! She hit plenty of jump shots from around the perimeter! You can tell this kid really works on her shot! Not only is her jump shot pure, she plays hard each trip up and down the floor and competes on the glass. Grace was dominant the entire weekend and her stellar play helped her Kentucky Premier squad to a Platinum championship.
