Talent rich teams invade Columbia, SC

Tip Off Classic

 

Columbia, SC – The fast rising South Carolina Future club hosted the Tip Off Classic that featured teams from Georgia to North Carolina. There was talent in every division and this event is sure to become one of the must attend spring events in the southeast.

BCS Post- Big body post, keeps the ball high, rebounds well, holds several BCS offers

Mani Simmons 5'7 Guard 2020 SC Lady Raptors
Hard nose competitor, can score all three ways, great defender

Lauren Cook 5'10 Guard/Forward 2018 SC Stars
Forward with guard skills, pushes the ball in transition, nice mid-range game, 

Madison Golden 6'0 Forward 2018 SC Future
Back to basket post, plays through contact, uses body well

Unique Drake  5'6 Guard 2019 SC Future
quick handle and scores in a variety of ways

Jordan Strange  5'8 Guard 2018 SC Future
long athletic guard, attacks the basket, active on both sides of the ball

Jada Burton  5'7 Guard 2020 Hoopzters
high basketball IQ, scores a variety of ways, makes everyone around her better, finish well with both hands

Shillae Campbell 5'0 Point Guard 2022 SC Stars
Dangerous off the dribble, very composed to be a 7th grader, can score and pass, shoots the 3 with ease.

3 point shooter and slasher, high motor, scrappy guard

Big body guard, attacks the rim, great court vision

 

Teams to Watch

The tournament featured 50 plus teams but a few teams really stuck out as teams to watch during the viewing period. The teams below competed well during the SC Future tournament. Their early success will serve as momentum during the viewing period.
