Team United 2021 is on the verge of becoming one of the top young teams in the Southeast. This team has IT at every position. They are lead by an emerging point guard in Kennedy Calhoun a 5’5 lefty with a high IQ. She is a vocal leader that does a great job controlling the game from the point. Her backcourt running mate is 5’5 Tanajah Hayes a very quick, athletic guard that plays down hill and is always in attack mode. On the wing is 5’8 Braylyn Milton a long wiry wing that is a lock down defender and does a great job anticipating the passing lanes. Milton is poised to have a breakout spring/summer and has the potential to be the next big thing out of Charlotte.  United has a pair of post players that demand lots of attention. Sisters ’21 Amhyia Moreland and ’22 Trinity Moreland are both 5’11 and strong. Both kids do a great job using their bodies in the post , has soft hands and loves the contact down low. ’22 Zoey Ward a 5’9 wing forward that has the ability to play the 2-4 comes off the bench and gives United a spark. From the wing Ward is a good passer and possess a good understanding of the game. ‘22’s Jada Tate and M’Kaylah Marshall are a pair of guards that come off the bench and Team United doesn’t miss a beat. They both bring energy and a very good understanding of the game to the court.
