Detroit Edison's Rickea Jackson Is The Queen Of Michigan's 2019 Class

Every now and then comes a very special draft class in the competitive world of professional sports. This is also the case in high school recruiting. If you’re a college coach, your focus is on the state of Michigan’s class of 2019. This class indeed has some major star power! The queen of this class is 6’3 wing Rickea Jackson of Detroit Edison High School. She’s a do it all player that is ranked #1 by Lady Ballers Insider and Top 10 nationally by many services. 5’10 wing Laya Hartman of Okemos is another kid that can flat out play. Hartman is ranked #2 by Lady Ballers Insider and Top 30 nationally. Both Jackson and Hartman hold offers from the state’s BCS schools in Michigan and Michigan State, but those schools will have to fend off many other top programs in the country as these young ladies will be serious candidates to play in the McDonalds All-American game. Other 2019 standout players include: Alyza Winston (Muskegon Mona Shores), Janae Terry (Wayne Memorial), Jasmine Powell (Detroit Country Day), Marihanna Petree (Arbor Prep), Eden Johnson (Ann Arbor Huron), Maddie Novak (Lake Orion), Deljanae Williams (Detroit King), Alexis Johnson (Southfield A&T), Sophia Wiard (Muskegon Oakridge), Moria Joiner (Saginaw Heritage, Molly Davis (Midland Dow), Julia Ayrault (Grosse Pointe North) and Allona Blackwell (East Kentwood).
