Southwest Juco Jamboree Was Filled With Talented Players

New Mexico & Trinity Valley has many players that will play at the next level

Frisco, TX - The Southwest Juco Showcase was filled with tons of talent from which all collegiate basketball levels can recruit. Some of the nation's best two-year players were showcasing their seasoned skills and abilities that are sure to help take any program to the next level. The competition was fierce on all courts for each game that was played; Northeastern OK vs. Seward and Trinity Valley vs. New Mexico being a two of the most competitive games of the day.  This is a great event for Juco players to showcase their talent and exemplify the hard work they put in to make the next level.

Jasauen Beard Sophomore 6’1” Combo Guard South Plains (TX)
A very nice backcourt talent who brings excellent size to the table. Beard has good court instincts, a solid handle on the basketball, and can get points in the paint both off the dribble and with her jump shot. Really like the way she absorbs contact and finishes with either hand.

Cesaria Ambrosio Sophomore 6’1” Point Guard Redlands (OK)
Ambrosio has the ability to take over games both inside and out. She has great size for her position and is a strong rebounder and finisher inside. She has excellent floor vision and is a solid decision maker who plays under control.  Cesaria actively looks to get her teammates involved.

Jaylynn Evans Patterson Freshman 6’3” Post Johnson County (KS)
Evans is a tall, long mobile frontcourt force. Very effective using her length to block and alter shots. Really like her ability to get out and run the floor. Solid as an inside scorer. A very intriguing prospect that already has very good size and appears to have a lot of growth left.

Mariah McCully Freshman 5’8” Point Guard Odessa (TX)
A terrific floor leader that brings polished and advanced skills to the table. McCully is quick and was very strong with the ball in her hands. Really like the way she can get to the rim and the poise that she showed on the floor.

Ni’Asia McIntosh Freshman 6’0” Wing New Mexico (NM)
McIntosh is nice wing prospect that is a good athlete that can play multiple positions on the floor. She showed a nice mid-range jumper and a solid handle that allowed her to get out in transition for easy baskets. She also defended well on the perimeter using her length and athleticism to clog passing lanes and rebound on both ends.
