Perryburg, OHThe highly anticipated LBI Fall Jam Fest kicked off Friday night on the campus of Owens Community College. Numerous Division I and II colleges lined the baseline and got a great show. Players kicked off the event playing at a very high intensity level, giving all they had every game. Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, it ended with a double overtime thriller. Listed are a just a few of the players that had a great night on the court.

#13 Keairra Jennings  2020  5’6”  Guard  Michigan Crossover 14u
As soon as Jennings checked into the game she made her presence felt. She had a nice defensive stop and finished on the other end. She was able to switch up her game when needed; knocking down a three or driving to the basket. When she was on the court, she hustled and played hard every possession. When her team needed her to, she was able to step into the point guard role and execute well.

#22 Olivia Howard  2020  5’5”  PG  JSBA Red
Howard showed poise and heart in the event opener. Competing against a very athletic Crossover squad, Olivia showed no fear. No matter what the score was she never stopped playing. She continuously drove to the basket for easy baskets and drew several fouls and was involved in several hustle plays. Olivia also shot the ball from deep, doing all she could to give her team a fighting chance.

#24 Alona Blackwell  2019  5’9”  Guard/Wing  Michigan Crossover 15u
Looking at Blackwell’s long slim frame, one would not expect to see the toughness that she brings to the court. Willing to sacrifice her body to complete the play, Alona was not afraid to take some bumps and elbows driving to the hoop or battling for a rebound. She played solid defense, creating several turnovers playing the passing lanes and stopping the drive.

#45 Tihanna Fulton  2019  6’0”  Post  All Ohio Xpress
Tihanna looks like a basketball player and has the agility and athleticism to back it up. She ran the court extremely well, snatching down several defensive rebounds and making it down the court to get in position and be an offensive threat. She knows the game and was very vocal on the court.  Fulton didn’t show any signs of exhaustion, despite playing every minute, and helped lead her team to a 20 point victory.

#44 Kaiden Glenn  2021  6’0”  Wing/Post  Michigan Crossover 14u
Long and athletic, Glenn showed her versatility and ability to play inside and outside. She drove to basket from the wing, finishing with contact or passing to an open teammate. She battled for rebounds and gave some nice post moves when she got smaller players on her back. Kaiden used her long arms to be a huge defensive presence, altering and blocking shots.
